Got one of these for my bedroom window as the window hinged from the top and pushed outwards and my two young indoor cats got to the point of pushing it far enough open - one of them ended up on the kitchen extension roof! (She came back in the same way safe and well) I easily attached it to my window, following the included instructions, with just the adhesive tape. The latch is ever so slightly too big for the trim of my window, so screws probably wouldn't thread properly if I tried. However, the adhesive has held up well so far and I've had it for a month or so now and I haven't had any more escape artist cats! The latch gives maybe a couple of inch gap to have air circulating, which is just what we needed. Done exactly what was needed for a great price.

This is probably the best thing I have bought for the house in the last 5 years. We have three young kids, and in the hotter months we always wrestle with ourselves about leaving the balcony door open. Is it safe to leave the door open, or better we just boil in the apartment. This simple, versatile device allows us to leave the door locked ajar, so no little people can wonder out onto the balcony. The product itself is strong and durable (ours has been operates at least 20 times a day since purchase). The locking mechanism is complex enough to thwart young escapists, but simple and easy enough for grown ups. The self adhesive mounting is also great for us renters who can’t drill into window frames.

Bought this for our children’s bedroom window. It’s very easy to install and does appear to be stuck on well. However it’s quite tricky to undo so not sure we’ll keep it as not sure we’d be able to get out quick enough if there was a fire! Would not personally recommend due to this fact.

Good product,not the best in securing your property if unattended, wouldn't leave my windows open at all. Ideal when your home ,easy to fit would recomend using some sort of spray to make the slider slide better for pulling out the slider arm. Good sturdy hard plastic. Has bolt holes for the locking mechanism, but none for the long slider mechanism. This tape is one of the best used in the industrial department. If someone wanted to get in they would very easily. Being in the trade this product is ok for when your home. Just don't forget to shut your windows when ever your going out.

These are brilliant! We wanted a ‘no drill’ window restrictor to stop our little boy leaning out the window. Bought one to test it and was very impressed, then needed another 2 for the other upstairs windows. Had to wait for a re-stock but was worth the wait. Couldn’t find any other similar product available for sale anywhere. Very easy to install- the sticky pad is so sticky so make sure you’re happy with where you stick it as it’s definitely not coming off again. Really sturdy and no worries about a child managing to force it loose. The new addition of a little tab to help pull off the backing paper made them much easier to install than the first one we had. Would definitely recommend- a great product.

Hyper simple d'installation, l'adhésif est très puissant et colle instantanément, donc bien prendre son temps. Mes fenêtres s'ouvrent de l'intérieur, mais cela ne pose pas de problème, il suffit d'inverser par rapport au schéma. Un très bon produit qui évite de faire des trous quand on veut sécuriser ses fenêtres.

Después de bastantes semanas de uso me parece un producto excepcional, cumple con creces su cometido. Fue muy fácil de instalar, es muy seguro y fiable los niños no tienen forma de abrir la ventana. Le doy un 10

Es funktioniert auch bei unserem VELUX Dachflächenfenster. Die schraubenlose Montage war uns wichtig da wir zur Miete wohnen. Der Kleber hält so feste dass er vom Kind nicht zu lösen ist. Von Erwachsenen Hand ohne Rückstände per Hebelwirkung lösbar. Auch in Grau diskret und nicht auffällig. Behindert nicht die Verdunklung mit dem Rollo. Ermöglicht für uns Risiko loses Lüften im Kinderzimmer trotz darunter stehendem Hochbett. Der Kauf war die richtige Entscheidung.
