Smittybilt 4433 Bull Bar License Plate Frame

Very sturdy and looks nice. Holds license plate well. I added tinted shield to front of license plate and it looks good. Little pricey but nicely built and painted.

Screws seized in my previous Smittybilt bracket after 5 years of use, so I ordered a new one. Good quality, just wish it supported the license plate on the back side better. After awhile the wind/air resistance bends the plate backwards and creates cracks around the license plate holes.

It is a decent piece, but I had trouble getting it *perfectly* level. I had to use some spacers to get it at the perfect height I wanted. It isn't perfectly constructed, but it'll do.

Bizarre problem here. The allen bolts in the bull bar are neither 4mm or 5/32", but in between. I tried everything and can't remove a one, and the center one has to come out for this thing to mount. I'm sending it back. I'd guess that the Chinese made the allen bolt head perfectly 4mm, and then painted/coated it, and now it's in between and a simple procedure isn't. Red flag: Smittybuilt's instructions say you need an allen wrench, but nowhere do they mention what size. That's because no size will remove the bolt from the center underside of the bulbar!

A little tricky to install but looks great does the job

Used on a jeep and it worked out great, pics uploaded, I used an empty hole near my wench and purchased spacers, bolts and washers, attached it to my bumper and it holds the plate.
