Great for aeration
I put this in line from raw sea water pump to a live tank for lobster. The tank will hold around 1000 lobsters and once it reaches capacity some will start to smother in the corners where the water flow has a low turn over. This simple device solved the problem. It puts so much air into the water you’d think the tank was boiling by looking at it! $25 invested to keep thousands of dollars worth of live product healthy and ready for wholesale. I’ve been using this for 3 seasons, it is reliable and have had no issues so far. Very happy with this as an aeration device.

Works very well if designed correctly
Using mine with a 2 inch gas pump to fertilize my lawn. The hole narrows to about an inch to create the venturi effect that siphons the fertilizer out of the tank. Could only operate the pump just above idle to keep it from bursting my hose. I put a ball valve on the suction end to regulate the amount of fertilizer it draws out. 1/2 open it sucked 20 gallons in about 13 minutes. Fully opened it sucks 20 gallons in about 5 minutes. Keeping that in mind, it works very well for my application. With a large pump like mine, you need to incorporate a bypass or a way to quickly disconnect it from the line to be able to run a large volume of water.

This really sucks
This device really sucks. Exactly as it should. In fact it sucks a little to well. I'm using it to inject bleach into an aerobic system. It pulled almost 2 gallons in about 5 minutes. I'm turning the valve in the tubing down to see if I can slow it down. 2 gallons should last a month. The tubing orifice is for 3/8" tubing. Not 1/4" as someone said in q&a. Had to go to Ace and get an adapter to step it down to 1/4".I'd previously tried using a 1/2" venturi with 1/4" tubing orfice in a by pass line that did not work. Installed this directly inline and worked immediately.Only thing I might do differently is try a 1 1/2" and adapt to my 1" line. The restriction in this venturi looks to be about 1/2". My pump volume is strong enough to handle more. Might reduces the suction too.

Works great for pools.
I bought this to help with the regulating PH levels in our pool. All i can say is it works GREAT. I can honestly say its a good investment toward your pool.

why isn't IT working...
Well water-driven sprinkler system running pump at 40-60 pressure. Water runs through to the zone at great pressure and delivers a great throw of water. The supply is 1 1/4" PVC, the venturi has the flow arrow pointing to the right of the photo towards the sprinklers. Zero draws from the venturi inlet. Also, I removed the spring, ball, and silicone gasket to make sure the flow was not blocked from the take-up clear hose. Of course, reinstalled the ball, spring, and silicone gasket. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, folks.

Does Not Work
I purchased this 1 1/2 inch for my irrigation system, customer made the piping got everything set up, filled the 5-gallon bucket with AgroThive and the Injector would not sick it out at all. OK so I called another company to find out how it is supposed to work, they said to install two pressure gauges one on the inlet and one on the outlet side, and the pressure on the outlet side should be 25% less pressure than the inlet side, so I turned my vale to give me 25% less on the outlet side, and still not working. Now I am stuck with it and have to order from the real company to get one that is working. so do not waste your time or money on this one. I wish someone would have told me first.

Good upgrade for skimmer
I used this to upgrade my lifereef skimmer after using a much bigger pump to feed the water.
