Comfortable sandals - but beware of sizing problems
These sandals are very comfortable to wear and lightweight, despite the wooden soles. As they are hard to find in the UK, I was pleased that Amazon had them, albeit in only a limited range of sizes. However, although clearly sold as UK11/Eu46 (and marked as such), they are under-sized (not even an Eu45 in my opinion) and noticeably smaller than my older pair of Berkemann sandals of allegedly the same size, bought in Germany. My query to the manufacturer as to the sizing differences was brushed aside.It would be good if Amazon made these sandals a regular stock item, with a full range of accurate sizes - and also spare belts (straps), which are impossible to find in the UK and prohibitively expensive if bought from Germany by mail-order.

You have to adapt to walking in these sandals, since they are exercise sandals.
I use this product all the time when I am out. They are extremely elegant in their simplicity. I did get some chafing from one of the staples used to hold the buckle in place. That resolved when I loosened the strap.

I had problems with leg pain. Since wearing them the pain has ceased to be a revelation. I recommend it to everyone.

Love this style of sandal
I love this original style of sandal. The length of the wooden sandal is almost too short for the size. On the other hand, the leather strap is SUPER wide even on the smallest adjustment. It looks like I will have to look for a smaller strap as this one is for seriously obese feet.

Great sandales
Classic wooden sandales in Berkemann style. Really nice to wear and nicely wooden sounding. The wood dosen't mark much from wear and they seem well made and strong. Love 'em

Great Lightweight sandals
Very good sandals well made and perfect fit from Germany this is my first pair of these and I am delighted With them if you want spare straps for your sandals contact me I know a supplier in the UK

Excellent Sandal
The sandals fit well and are very comfortable. I was concerned the sandals may not stay on well when walking, but once the buckle on the strap is correctly adjusted, my concern was unfounded. They are a pleasure to wear and can be slipped on/off very easily. I would certainly recommend them.
