WENHA5932 5-Amp Variable Speed Portable Oscillating Spindle Sander

This is a Great little sander..! I was looking for something small and portable. My shop isn't real big, so space is at a premium. I used this in the upside down position, clamped to my work bench. I was sanding round holes i created in inch thick cutting board polymer. This sander buzzed it right down to the smooth circumference I needed. The dust port worked well, even tho it was sanding plastic. I would Highly recommend this product. It does the job incredibly well..!

Awesome tool, does what I need it to and takes up minimal space when not in use. Has smooth movement and has enough power to no bog down. The dust collection port is a nice addition as well.

I ordered this when apparently it was going out stock nationwide for almost a month, so when it finally arrived, I had finished the bandsaw box I'd hoped to use it on. When I set it up, I still had some cutoffs of the maple box that mirrored the same curves that I had worked on with my drill press sanding drums. This thing was terrific compared to what that task had been!Set-up on the bench is a little awkward, but not too bad. The vacuum port attachment seems to perfectly fit the 1-1/4" tube on the end of my smallest shop vac, so that will be good. Biggest complaint is the short oscillating throw compared to a bench top unit. But I think it will be a great tool for my occasional needs.

Much more solid and sturdier than I expected for this price. I also purchased a 12 piece sanding tube selection at a discount when I purchased the tool. I already have a large belt grinder so needed a compact option. I will use the sander quite a bit to clean up the many little projects I work on in my shop. It's no bigger than drill gun and is super portable. The included table/bench mounting clamps fix this thing very firmly. This is a great and very useful tool for small change. At its lowest speed level, it's plenty fast to remove stock and is pretty quiet. It does get loud at its fastest setting. A++++ tool.

We have been searching for a long time for an oscillating spindle sander. Ever since PC discontinued theirs and ours broke. When i saw this, i figured based on the price it was probably very low quality that couldnt sand anything much better than your hands could do. I was wrong. My first impression after taking it out the box was that it was built well. It feels rugged & put together well. Albeit, the shell is probably not as rugged & resilient as a much higher priced unit would be, but for the price it is excellent. Now, the test. Plugging it in and putting it to work. We are cabinet makers so immediately we had it sand the edge of 3/4'' veneer ply. This thing turned that edge into sawdust in no time. It is very loud, which is to be expected, so protect those ears. It also is heavy enough that the unit was easy to control while it was working. I guess the only thing i would improve about this unit is a) for a few bucks more provide a plastic case for it and b) maybe add a removable handle to the top or side of it so you have more to grip while you are using it. Other than that,,, for the price (or even a bit higher) this will be hard to beat!

Bought this instead of a bench top spindle sander (much cheaper) to see how they worked, never used one before. I am a diy woodworker, and this works well for my needs. Very light, easy to mount on my work table. Made a round table top for it (can find videos on YouTube) and was easy to mount it with exiting screws. I have used it several times, and so far, very happy with it. I would recommend it if you don’t want to spend several hundred dollars for a bench top version. Do suggest to buy some additional sanding spindles, comes with only 80 grit, one for each size spindle. Can buy replacements on Amazon (just make sure they are the right size for this sander).
