It went onto my crv very easily. It seems very solid. We used it for a trip of 800 miles each way and had no problems with it. We could not hear any additional noise with just the crossbars.

I’m echoing a lot of other reviews here. I found this roof rack kit to be high quality and a good value relative to the Honda OEM kit. Instructions were a little vague, but I went on YouTube and found some pretty helpful installation videos. I highly recommend viewing some videos PROIR to attempting to install this rack. The written directions will make a lot more sense if you do this. From start to finish, the install took me about 2 hours. I know others had issues with hardware. I actually found all the hardware worked for my install. The trickiest part of the process was removing and cutting down the existing weather strips. The instructions say you should use a sawzall to cut the strip. I was concerned about this method given you are cutting so close to the car. I opted to use a pair of tin snips instead and it worked well for me. I would also advise you to leave a little more of the existing weather strip there. Ie - you don’t want to cut the strips too short and leave a gap between the rack rail and the weather strip. The rail covers the strip anyway, so leaving a little more on the vehicle is better than cutting too short.Overall - Installation went fairly well and the rack looks great.The only negative with regard to the rack system is that the cross bars jiggle a little. I’m going to have to remove the cross bars and apply some electrical tape to remove any play. Should not be noticeable, but definitely not ideal. Was hoping for a tighter fit.All in all - a great value here. That said, you do need to be aware that installation isn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done (and I like to think I’m fairly handy). To be fair - the difficulty is not really an issue with the rack. It’s more a reflection of the design of the Honda CR-V. (Honda - if you’re reading this, would it be that hard for you to just have rails come installed at factory?? 😂)I would not recommend this kit to someone without basic tools / installation experience.

I was apprehensive with the crossbars. I am very well pleased. Quality is very good. Easy to install and looks great. The instructions didn’t include the install of the below bar two set screws. Instal them, two on each side, before placing bars on roof. A very good purchase.

Perfect fit. Great price. No issues with installation.

Upside: Very sturdy, easy to install and looks nice.Downside: To finish off your install there are plastic covers that hide the screws - these I found absolutely impossible to install. I spent much more time trying to fit the plastic covers on the roof rack then actually installing the roof rack. If you look closely The only way I could keep it in was taping it with clear cellophane tape. In time the tape will wear away and the cover will blow off. For that reason I am giving the Roof rack a one star rating.

The parts came in good condition and the assembled product feels sturdy, but the fit of the rails seems sloppy… noticeable gaps at the front and back. Will add pictures soon

Easy to install. Directions could have been better, so you have to figure out two ideas yourself, but both are fairly obvious.Only comment is the crossbars fit loosely into the towers. I trimmed some of the packing foam and inserted into the towers on right to fill the void. Worked great, but I’m going to remove the bars again, use form in the left towers and wrap the ends of the bars in electrical tape to eliminate a very minor rattle, noise caused by the lose crossbars in their towers. I figure this should do the trick. But these are a fraction of the cost of Thule, Yakama or OEM bars. They look great and the value is very high.
