(Apple MFi Certified) Lightning to HDMI Adapter,1080P Digital AV Audio Adapter Sync Screen with Charging Port for iPhone Xs/XR/X/8 7 6, iPad and iPod Models on TV/Monitor/Projector

The only thing I liked was it was able to mirror YouTube videos but not any movies. That’s where the 1 star is given. Tried Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube movies and you can only hear the sound but the screen would stay black. I tried it on a couple of devices which are as follows: iPad mini, iPhone 7+, and iPhone 8+ and still none of these played the movie but sound. Another weird thing is the description says it works with all these devices but on the user manual that came in the box only mentions up to iPhone 7+. I returned the item the same day I received it. Hope this helps out.

Stated in the description THREE TIMES 'no app or software needed'. Guess what? You plug it in, a QR code comes up on the screen to download an app. Description is inaccurate and misleading. I guess it would work but I am not downloading a two star app that I'm not supposed to need in the first place. I am very dissatisfied and will be returning this ASAP and buying a true Apple HDMI adapter.

I got this as a cheap device to pair my iPad to an older television that does not have an apple tv. It works fine and the images are played with no issues. However I have two complaints with this device. It does not charge the iPad while it is connected to the dongle. I have also experienced some issues with resolution of the image/show not matching the TV, so the TV is sectioned off weirdly. Otherwise this device is fine for what it costs.

I use a fitness app on my iPad to work out in the morning and sometimes it was hard to see the specific move or technique that they were demonstrating. This allows me to use my TV for workouts. Perfect solution, is portable for when I travel for work.

I understand not being able to use this for Netflix or Hulu but I was not even able to use this to watch my iTunes movies that I purchased. I’m sending it back and getting Chromecast 😒

Even with charger connected this did not work for me. I have the real, Apple lightning connector and just wanted a spare. Disappointed.

Save your money. I wanted to use this product to display video from my iPad to tv but the only thing that can is displayed is what you are doing on the device. So if you want to display what you are doing on your device this is for you but if want to use it for video save your money.

Unfortunately, this item did not hold a charge at all. I used a friends adapter once before and it was plug and play. The projector identified the iPad Pro at once, but this one however kept displaying “no charge” on the iPad Pro as soon as I plugged it in. I then tried the cord on the iPad without the adapter, and it began to charge. Oh well... return.
