Very easy to carry.
We've been using the pop-up type leaf cans, but they always sproing a spring after a while, or the cloth handles rip off, and they get chucked out with the trash. They're annoying to carry up and down stairs too. I was actually looking for yet another folding leaf can when I found this bag.These bags are GREAT! The large aluminum ring sewn in handles have foam grip and are very comfy on the hands. The bag height is about right to keep the bottom of the bag off the ground when carrying to the laundry area, so you just walk with your arm down like you're carrying a grocery bag. Well made and sturdy. I would like to see a cloth handle on the bottom for easier emptying at the washing machine, but that's not enough of a nitpick to take off a star. I ordered two, but plan on getting a couple more, maybe in different colors to separate the laundry. In the photo, the volume is comparable to a folding leaf can. They also stand up for throwing dirty clothing into. The yellow thing is a yard stick for size scale.

Surprisingly awesome laundry basket
I've had a large plastic laundry basket for a long time, but it takes up room and is kind of awkward to carry. I looked and looked and read reviews and went with this laundry bag.It stands up on its own. It is made of canvas but it's stiff and treated so it holds its shape. The instructions will tell you not to wash it or it will lose that stiffness. This is not an issue for me since it's holding dirty laundry (I use my other basket for bringing up the clean loads).It is lightweight and easy to carry. The shape allows you to carry it with one hand even when it's full. My laundry is in my basement so opening the basement door and going safely down the stairs is much easier with this bag than with my old basket. It has soft grip handles too.It's a cool design look. I live by myself so I only need one, but you could buy a bag for each member of your family with the different colors.The vertical shape fits well into a small space. The photo I've attached shows it between a cabinet and a towel rack in my hallway (dog for scale lol).I'm pretty pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it and would purchase another would should the need arise.

You'll LOVE this Hamper!
When I first saw this I think I skipped over it a few times thinking it was going to be a cheaply made item. I WAS WRONG! Out of the box it was standing up on its own. We didn't have to fill it with anything to form its shape. This hamper holds ALOT of clothes and it is so easy to carry with the cushioned handles. It doesn't over power a room or make a room look messy. My 15 year old son loves it and now there is never clothing on his floor! Also great for sorting. Get them in different colors to separate! We love them and we think you will too! Great purchase!

Much better than a basket for carrying down the stairs.As
Some reviewers complained that the laundry bag does not stand up when it is empty. I don't know about you, but it doesn't seem like my laundry bag stays empty for long. :-) As soon as there are a few items in it, it stands up just fine. I have been hauling a large laundry basket up and down stairs for a few years and found it difficult and even dangerous. I can easily carrying this laundry bag by the handles, in one hand, and go up and down the stairs safely and easily. I may get some more of these for my other family members.

Good buy
Just the right size and well made. I've read some other reviews and this bag will stand on its own and opens wide enough to throw in clothes. The picture is of an empty laundry bag. I am happy with it.

Buy something else from anywhere else
At first these seemed like great laundry bags to carry up and down stairs. Unfortunately they are small and it was hard to put clothes in because they slumped over. You have to literally put one clothing item into it at a time. Carrying clothes in them was great but not when the handles started falling out. They literally are ripped at the seams. I wouldn’t even recommend these for a college student. Save your money, get something from Walmart or Target

Super solid, large capacity & well made.
Looks like small untill you go to empty it into washer. It becomes the bottomless pit and a full basket is more than a large home load. I must be used to the cheaper mesh/nylon bags that expand when they get full because Im shocked that I cant fit a full basket into my washer regardless of the contents.

Laundry Love!
I bought one of these to upgrade from some crummy old mesh pop-up hampers, and I'm so glad I did! The fabric and construction of this laundry tote is very sturdy, and the cushioned handle is nice when transporting a full load of laundry. Stands up well on its own, and doesn't take up a lot of space in my closet. Love it so much I ordered a second one!
