The product behaves exactly as described. It’s rechargeable which is convenient. I have two cats and they are so unpredictable. One cat was more interested in the packaging than the toy itself but the other guy loves it. I prefer to have the ball set up in white light setting or no light setting. My cats find the RGB setting repulsive.The ball moves around on its own but if it hits a wall or a furniture or something on its path it just gets stuck there hitting the same object for sometime before changing path which sounds like someone is knocking on your door. For that reason I wouldn’t turn this on while everyone is asleep during the night.

I don’t think this is suitable for any pet, it is dainty and too delicate to let even a small dog play with. My 5 month old puppy broke it in less than a minute just chasing it around. The “skin” is paper thin and not adhered to the plastic sphere. Too bad there is no zero star rating.

Recommend buying this ball for your dog. We have two Cavaliers and both really took to the ball. Work really well on our hardwood floors, flashing light and changing directions. Keeps them interested and entertained. Will have to get another as they do not share well. LOL. They warn about using on carpet and they don’t lie. The little ball tries to work but on thick carpet just really doesn’t do well.

My puppy destroyed it in les than 5 min. And its so slow it takes 1 sec to catch it waste of money

my puppy (french bulldog) took the toy apart within 10 minutes. the product does not bounce. it just rolls. the screw part when you close it together is plastic and its not durable. you will cross thread if your not careful.

It rolls around and he either ignores it and plays with him normal ball, or just barks at it if it gets too close! It is also not too soft, so I don't think he likes the texture.
