Got this to add just a subtle touch of shimmer to my face. I'm a redhead (or was, before getting old!); so the gold works for me. Alone, this stuff is a bit much; but I mix a dab of it in with my regular moisturizer, and it really does the trick to brighten this old gal up!

So!! This is my go-to liquid highlight, I not only use it as highlight on my cheeks but I even mix a bit of it into my liquid foundation every day to give me a natural, dewy, glowing goddess look!! I use the "Champagne" color to do this. I also buy the "Glistening bronze" separately for my LEGS in the summertime!! They glisten in the sun and it especially looks sooo hot with a tan imo!! BEWARE: the Champagne and Glistening bronze are total opposites in color and I learned that the hard way. I'm not sure if the formula overall has changed lately but I've bought these numerous times prior and I didn't recall the Glistening bronze having such HUGE gold specks in it but it does. Which is beautiful imo on your legs and body if you so choose! However, I don't prefer giant gold specks all over my face. At first I thought maybe I accidentally cross-contaminated it with like gold eyeshadow or something bc I didn't recall the gold being so prominent in it. So I tried a different one and I learned that the CHAMPAGNE was way more perfect for the FACE- or at least for the look I'm going for! The Champagne is more silvery-white which is beautiful as a traditional highlight on the cheekbones and this is also the one I mix a bit into my foundation. It makes me glowwww! and I don't have to deal with ugly giant gold specks all over my face. So all-in-all, I now keep both colors for different purposes!

The body shimmer pumps easily and spreads over the skin easily. The color and glow is beautiful! My skin is sensitive (allergy to tree nuts), so I was worried that I might have a reaction, but I didn't. It also has a pleasant, light smell. I used it a few days in a row for a wedding and other events. It's the details of a look, and this body shimmer added a subtle glow that was perfect for every occasion!

The color is correct but this isnt a shimmer. It's glitter!

This is an excellent illuminator for skin, and a great value as a little goes a long way. I bought the rose gold color, and it blends into my medium-tan skin (with neutral undertones) very well. As some other reviews mentioned, I like that this product has very tiny particles, so you get a subtle shimmer that isn't glittery at all. I use it on my shoulders and collarbone. I've tried it on my cheekbones, but it seems to soak into my makeup and not give much effect. For arms, legs, etc, though, it's perfect. It also lasts all day. Highly recommend!!

now before you buy this know this does stain so be careful when applying but it does add a shimmer and glow to your body I have sensitive skin so this doesn't bother me at all

If you are looking for a sheer shimmer or ultra hydration this is NOT the product you want. This is very glittery and your skin will be slightly sticky initially from the mixture of glam glitter and oils. It says it gives you subtle glow and tan...it is not really subtle and does not tan you. BUT it is a fun product and is a good addition to a highlighting/sparkle arsenal especially for a night out where you are trying to be a little more glammy than trying for a natural glow. The price is decent and the gold was pretty and I think would flatter most if not all skin tones as it is neutral rather than a warm gold or peachy bronze gold. It is like Sol de Janiero’s glow motions body oil but way cheaper and of course does not smell as delicious.

AHHHH I LOVE THIS!! CLASSIC EGYPTIAN GOLD COLOUR when looking at bottle, subtle gold tint when spread on skin with glitter, and smell heavenly.

Makes your skin look beautifully glossy, and shiny with a slight sparkle. Gives your skin a slight tanning colour (that washes off when you shower next). Great for events if your legs will be showing, equally as gorgeous to put all over your skin, over sunscreen, when you’re at the beach to make your skin look sensational when you’re in your bathers !
