Protein tablets are easy to chew ....

They should do these in chocolate like another Supplier did back in the 70s, they could not keep the chocolate ones on the shelf, because kids and adults loved them so much! These make a great snack with a protein perk, great for kids that don't eat right! But the honey taste needs work!

The taste is very very bad.

Just got these protein chewables today and chose this brand as they are listed as being at the top for using reputable ingredients, so I am commenting based on what I think at this point. I am not a vegetarian, but I am picky about meats, and don’t eat nearly as much as I should, so I try to compensate with eggs, beans, and other plant based proteins. I have tried many of the protein shakes over the years, and although I can get them down well enough (drinking quickly, and ignoring the taste), they all have way too much sugar, OR artificial (and supposedly “natural”) sweeteners, for me. My go to anymore are the two more popular high protein ready-made drinks that are aimed at “seniors” who struggle with getting enough nourishment and protein in general; but still, not comfortable with the sugar content, and I just refuse to settle for anything with sweeteners. These chewables would be fabulous if you didn’t have to eat so many of the tablets (6) just to get a measley 3% of protein. I wouldn’t even mind 5 or 6 tablets you got a reasonable amount of protein; but for someone like me, I would have to chew an insane amount of these per day to get even partially close to the daily recommended protein intake. They are honey-flavored, and I agree with another review that compares the tablets to the taste of graham crackers - they aren’t delicious, but I taste that too, so “graham crackers” is definitely an accurate comparison - which makes them better than most shakes. Obviously just chewing a few tablets is much better than protein drinks that have a ton of sugar, or worse - sweeteners. But I’m thinking that sticking with the ready-made drinks is still my best and most affordable daily option for needed protein despite the sugar issue. I recommend these if you don’t mind spending a lot of money to get such a minuscule amount of protein.
