Not just for fish
I delivered my baby during COVID-19 pandemic and was not willing to go to the pediatrician regularly just to get weight checks. I ordered this scale to monitor her weight gain and it worked like a charm! I used a sturdy clean cloth reusable grocery bag with it. My husband keeps his hands right under the bag, just in case, but the hook is sturdy and the bag has never slipped off. It’s so much easier to store than a bulky baby scale!

Works well, and appears to be accurate.
I used this scale to verify and calibrate my collection of torque wrenches.I used weights to verify the readings of this scale (and the scale was very accurate). Then I used the scale to measure the loads applied to the individual torque wrenches.

Does the job
I actually purchased this for traveling, to weigh suitcases. The beep could be a little louder, but it’s a nice little scale. It’s a little finicky about movement, and it won’t register a weight until the suitcase stops swinging, so I’m not sure if it’s any good for weighing a live fish flopping around on it

Works great for weighing small live animals.
I bought this scale to weigh my new baby ball python, who weighed just over 100g when I got him. IMO it works better than a flat scale because I can just put him in his cloth bag and it doesn't matter if he shifts around a little. It's perfectly accurate and hey, if I ever need to weigh fish or luggage I guess I'm covered!

Great bicycle scale
I purchased this to use a scale to measure bicycles and bicycle components. Super inexpensive alternative to the much more expensive bicycle scales on the mark. Now I will know what EVERYTHING weighs!
