I Got Scammed So You Don't Have To: How to Find Legitimate Work at Home and Random Jobs in a Scamming Economy Paperback – February 25, 2015

Even with my logical and intuitive awareness that I am lucky/blessed/fortunate in multiple areas of my life this book appealed to me for multiple reasons one reason being is to expand my awareness beyond my immediate external environment of what is available andor exists that might have a beneficial trade-off in career, money, andor other goal enhancement ideas. This book I Got Scammed So You Don’t Have To by Bethany Mooradian shares some of the author’s multiple techniques she has tried in side and includes ideas for other views of this book looking for further cash infusion ideas. Some of the pros: she gives ideas that a person can look into that can be done in multiple parts of the United States andor even around scheduling around an existing job(jobs/career/careers): getting paid to drive, getting a random job being an online guide etc. The caveats: this was written prior to the covid19 pandemic which would obviously mean that a writer may have to do further research on some of the creative ideas mentioned.

Bethany has lived what she is talking about, and she explains the good and bad in an easy-to-understand way. For every bad situation, she offers hope, or a solution going forward to keep people from making similar mistakes. She points out too that sometimes it is a matter of changing one's perception. That what we might consider a scam is just a difference in expectation.

It was ok.

I read the book from cover to end, and this young lady had good information, a lot of which was interesting. She gained a lot of skills in all the jobs she went after and performed. My cudos to her for being so wise to even carefully craft this book which has brought her even more income. So far the book has not opened an opportunity for me, but I enjoyed reading it.

KINDA OUTDATED

This book really is four in one, and part of me wishes that the author took the time to write and expand on all sections, but on the other hand, I'm glad it's all put together in one tidy package.Since I'm more into entrepreneurship, this book was recommended to me to help me develop different income sources for my business. The first part of the book was mostly technical tips regarding scammers and Internet information. The fourth part really helped me see beyond my one method of earning money through the business and gave me some good tips into branching out. By far, it was the most useful part of the book for me personally. The middle sections gave real companies and ideas on how I could expand my current offerings through affiliate marketing, selling print-on-demand chachkies, chat-lines for customer support (or charging for consulting) and more. For anyone looking at work at home jobs or just ways to make extra money, sections 2 and 3 are definitely for you. The author gives a LOT of companies to work for, either as an employee or independent contractor.Overall, this book is extremely useful for the work at home professional or entrepreneur.

Bethany Mooradian breaks down scam information like I have never seen before. Instead of just telling you what scams exist, she leads you step by step in revealing information about the Internet and scammers. This book has 4 parts, and the first part is essential to anyone who gets online. Bethany explains what an IP address is, and how to find out the person (or company) behind the numbers. She explains marketing tricks that scammers use to prey on our senses, and gives us tools to use to research companies fully. Not just through a Google search, but actually researching domain information and registration.The second and third parts of the book deal with finding random ways to make extra money, and real companies that offer flexible jobs or ones you can do from home. The fourth part of the book deals with starting your own business, brainstorming ideas, and motivation. It's a very thorough book, a quick read with a ton of useful information.
