Carlinkit carplay dongle

I got this for a retro-fit Android double-din in my Golf Mk4. Download and install were easy and the product works as described.

initially I loved this but since iPhone update I have connection issues and when it does connect there is no sound!!How do I get help with this item?

Perfect & really good quality. Fairly easy to install... I done it 1st time. Much better than my other standard CarPlay.

Works fine with cable but for wireless with iphone is slow.

Doesn’t work for me. Loses wireless connection after a few mins then won’t reconnect, even over USB. Crashes the app constantly. Returned and got another model which uses the same app but doesn’t crash, so I strongly believe the issue is hardware.

Works perfectly. The phone itself does the processing and transmits it via WiFi so it’s not about a cheap dongle vs a pricey one. Lots are not wifi/bluetooth versions though, this one is both that and usb. Simple to install and use with the android stereo

It didn’t work from my system

Works perfectly with my retro fitted android unit. No more android clunkyness:-). Literally installed the app, plugged it in to the USB port and connected the phone via Bluetooth (you can use the usb on the port if you want to do it wired) and that’s it. Perfect! Also the idrive controls work and the touchscreen is much more responsive - essentially because CarPlay is actually on the phone.
