Yes, Your 3 Year Old Can Think and Problem Solve.
Jigsaw puzzles are great for kids, but what do you do when your child is ready to move on to something more that will challenge them once again? If you are reading this review, you know the answer. Castle Logix is probably the best puzzle/game that you've never heard of. So simple in concept and yet so thought provoking for your child. The 12 "starter" challenges use 3 of the 4 blocks, and all 3 of the towers. Your child stacks the blocks to match the picture in the book. 12 "junior" challenges add the 4th block into the mix. The 12 "expert" challenges involve balancing the blocks and towers in some way so that they don't fall rather than just stacking them. Finally, the 12 "master" challenges use the non-painted side of the blocks, forcing your older child to really tax their brain to match up the blocks. For my child, 3&1/2 was the perfect age to start with these. We start with the first challenge each time and build up to the stopping point every time we bring these out, adding a new challenge in the play-session if she is ready. Watching your kid work through and get closer and closer to the solution is just plain awesome. Even if/when they get stuck, you know they are actually exercising their brain because you can see the results as they manipulate the blocks. Castle Logix is durable, portable, enjoyable, doesn't take batteries and will actually help to teach your child how to think and use logic. You will be hard-pressed to find a better toy/gift for a kid in the 3-6 range.

One of the Best Development Toys for Toddler (Problem solving, logic and sequence thinking, motor skills)
It is a true award winning toy! 3.5 years old son loves it. We do this during dinner time so that we can finish our dinner (he is a picky and slow eater). It is very simulating for a young brain. He grabs on to the concept (refer to the book to build the castle, then refer to the answer guide) quickly. We went through the first 2 modules (beginner, next level) in a few days. We are struggling a little bit with the 3rd level with the 'tilting' construction, but I have no doubt he will be developed soon to tackle those puzzles in the 3rd and 4th levels. This is a toy that young children will grow with. It helps with their logic and sequence thinking (process of building the blocks and columns), motor skills (ability to stack and insert columns), problem solving (if first attempt of construction does not match the graphic, i.e. the column was standing too tall, he will have to try the construction with a shorter column and maybe the shortest column to get the end results). I highly recommend this toy. The age labeled for this toy is appropriate.

Great puzzle edition
I bought this toy thinking my 4 year old girl would like a different type of puzzle and that my 2 year old son could play with the blocks. When my daughter opened her gifts on Christmas morning (she probably had 50 toys to choose from, big family) she stopped and played with this one. I was a little floored. I mean, she had a Power Wheel in the living room! She did several of the pages before I forced her to move on to opening the rest of her presents. I am very impressed with the quality of the toy. It is very well made. The castle look has peeked my sons interest and he plays with the blocks so I am hoping that when he is older, this puzzle will also entertain him. My daughter came back to this toy after all the presents were opened. After all the toys were put away in their new homes this is the first toy she asked for. It is a good addition. It is also a very nice gift for a birthday party. I think age 6 would be my limit on that though. I think age 6 they would still have a little room to grow into it and wouldn't find it super easy. This will be a go to toy for birthday party invites. Depending on the price fluctuation.

Great for all ages!
This is a great set to add to our homeschool curriculum! It's engaging for the kids and it also challenges them. Our kids range in age from 8 down to almost 1, and our 2 year old even enjoys it. I was afraid it would be too hard for her and too easy for the oldest but, with the booklet that comes with it, they're able to find puzzles that fit them. Great set!

Stimulating game of logic
I got this for my four year old daughter in an effort to please both of us---I presented it as a gift from Santa as a castle game since she has fallen princesses hard. I wanted something to challenger her intellectually and reinforce her spatial reasoning skills. It's great for her---she plays with it frequently throughout the day, pausing to build a set at a time and also free plays with it and makes her own castles. I also give it props for not being chokable sized pieces as we have a one year old and many older kid toys aren't floor safe. Better quality than I expected and she's getting more use out of it than I expected. Win win!

Excellent Preschool game!
My three year old is loving this! Just a few pieces, so its hard to lose the parts, and the puzzles are just enough to make her think and plan. I actually enjoy doing these with her, and we got Camelot Jr. for her older sister. I think this is not just more fun, but better designed. It has a clear goal, and a clear path to that goal, and the obstacles are obvious and present themselves as a problem(a piece simply not fitting, or being too long).

A lot of fun
This game is a lot of fun and makes your toddler think. My 5 year old can go through most of the games without much problem but still enjoys it. My 3 year old finds it challenging.

Great toy. Great gift.
Great toy. Great gift. We received one two years ago, and have given this as a present to others. It's a few simple pieces made of solid wood, and you must fit the pieces together to replicate the picture in the book that comes with it. The puzzles in the book progress from easy to hard. Kids of multiple ages will enjoy this, and most kids 4 and up should be able to do this on their own without needing constant help. When we first got it, my then 3 and 5-year olds could do it together. Adults like it, too.
