Aventi Kidney Complete Powder 300g

My 13 year old cat's kidney values were a little high so my vet recommended we start this supplement. It has worked wonders. I am truly shocked. I also have an older dog which I started using this for and her kidney values have come down as well. It's a little pricey but worth every penny in my opinion. If you have an older cat or dog in the beginnings of kidney failure give it a chance.

My dog needs this daily and, I usually purchase it on Amazon since I can get it quickly. Recently I returned from my holiday vacation and forgot this at my friend's home. I ordered it once I realized I left it, and it arrived the next day when I returned home. Great product, our vet recommended for my dog to support her kidney function. Sprinkle it in her food and she seems to like it.

This was recommended to us by our vet . We’ve used it for a few months , had bloodwork redone ,and saw a decrease in his numbers . Happy with product . Also available from Amazon in a large sized tub . Best value. 25 lb dog 1/2 scoop 2x a day .

This is a fantastic aid for our dog with kidney disease. It has helped stabilize her health and is doing wonders for her. I agree with everyone else here saying the price fluctuates ... it does as do the suppliers. I wish Amazon itself got into selling veterinary supplements like they do for humans. To the reviewer criticizing the use of maltrodexrin in it saying there is no reason for it: you might want to check your facts. Maltrodexrin is a naturally derived sugar alternative that is used to extend the life of prebiotics and probiotics. That is the reason it is in there. The quantity in there is minor in terms of what the pet consumes but vital for the biotics that are there to help the pet. Yes there can be side effects for persons (or pets I guess) with IBS but most are not negatively impacted by it.

Its only been a few days but i honestly think my cat seems better--she ate a few good meals and seems to have regained a bit of her former energy?...hoping this helps !

I use this regularly for my 3 cats. Two were being treated for early-stage kidney disease and one gets it for preventative reasons as she is an older cat (13). This is tasteless to cats and is stirred into their wet food. Our cats are fed a raw diet with chicken broth added to provide a good amount of moisture in their diet for additional kidney support. This disappears into the wet food (easily absorbed). With the added broth the powder can (annoyingly) float around, which interestingly, cats hate. I have ensured I fold all the wet food over the powder and that does the work. This powder helps keep phosphorus levels lower (as this is one issue in kidney disease) and amazingly one of my cats now shows no signs of kidney disease. Who knows what caused that great result, but I would recommend anyone with a cat/dog needing kidney support to use this. Also, I will buy it from this supplier as it's cheaper than getting it from vets.

This seems to be working for my dog, she was diagnosed with Kidney disease a year and half ago, tried changing food but what she could have didn't have much in it but corn so our Vet suggested this only problem is that it is expensive.
