Surface good; packaging poor
Just received it and there's no damage to the shipping box or inner wrapping. Meaning that however these are packaged at the manufacturing facility, something cut that corner shown in the picture.Otherwise the surface looks good, and feels moisture resistant.

Looks like a real countertop!
Love this backdrop board! I am a beginner at food photography but this board already is giving me great results! 10/10 recommend! Would love to get a new backdrop from Bessie Bakes soon.

Flaws on the surface
This surface is flawed. It might not be noticeable with straight-on shots, but I take a lot of 45 degree angle photos, and this will show up. I’m disappointed, because I like the size. Also, the maker should come up with some kind of idea for a stable stand to be included. The website suggestions for propping up the backdrops aren’t terribly convenient. There has to be something better…

Not the best quality and texture
I was expecting much better quality than this for a single sided backdrop priced at roughly $100. The backdrop is lightweight for sure but seems fragile and will crack under pressure. The textures that you see on the board are all printed and not painted. So it's great for flatlays not so much for 45 degree shots. I'd put invest a little more and order high quality textured backdrops from Europe.
