Sawyer Products SP564 Premium Insect Repellent with 20% Picaridin, Lotion, 4-Ounce

I live in a neighborhood nestled between two wooded trenches, in a city at the confluence of two slow moving rivers. The city usually spends $300,000 a year spraying for mosquitos but this year they cut that to save money. The moquito population is currently more than 10x what it was last year according to researchers.I have been getting bitten within 30 seconds of going outside and I will get bitten every 10-15 seconds through regular bug spray, wearing a thermacell, and standing near a bug repelling tiki torch, all at once.This lotion has no smell and feels like nothing on my skin and I can go outside for an evening and not only do the mosquitoes stay away, but so does every other type of bug, seemingly. I am very impressed and recommending it to all my friends and family in similarly buggy environments.

This stuff is the absolute BEST! We live next to a ditch and the city is constantly letting water out then shutting it off creating nice little puddles all along that side of the property which quickly becomes a breeding ground for mosquitos in the warmer months. We have spent a fortune buying up every traditional brand of bug repellent on the market as well as every home remedy we could find and nothing worked to deter those little blood suckers. I don't care how much deet was in the product is didn't even slow them down. Then I found this stuff and I could not be happier. Just a little bit goes a long way. And once I have it on there's not a single bug bothering me. Added bonus, the lotion is unscented and doesn't feel greasy on the skin, actually feels like it moisturizes. I highly recommend this product.

I started using Sawyer insect repellent in 2007 on a trip to Belize. Their time release DEET product kept my whole family safe from all the various insects in that tropical environment. I moved to the South in the USA last year and need to wear some type of repellent every day from late March through at least October, so ordered the new Sawyers with 20% picaridin. It works as well or better than the older time release DEET formula here in the South, keeping the biting bugs at bay. My only complaint is that it is relatively expensive. The 4 once bottle size was gone in less than 3 weeks while the older bottles lasted months. I will probably buy again, but will test out some other less expensive brands first.

We recently went on a trip where we really needed bug spray. I had several different brands including this one. We even had several different deet brands. This was the only brand that was able to keep away the biting flies. Highly recommend if you have black biting flies. We were not in an area that had a lot of mosquitoes so I'm not sure on its effectiveness against mosquitoes. There were several of us that were only using this brand and none of us had any ticks either.

We live in FL and mosquitos are terrible where we live. I get eaten up by mosquitos just putting my kids in their carseat or taking the dog out. It is insane.But now, I just spray this on my face, arms and clothes and I am good to go.I can smell it when I put it on my face, but kt quickly goes away. It's not greasy or anything.I have tried so many but this is the winner.This is a must have for me!!!

I’ve used one can so far from this two-pack of Sawyer Products SP5762 20% Picaridin Insect Repellent, and I’m pleased with the results. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, keep bugs from biting me. I’ve used it during outdoor activities where mosquitoes and other insects are usually a problem, and it provided solid protection the entire time.The continuous spray is convenient and gives good coverage without needing to rub it in. I also appreciate that it’s not greasy or overly scented like some other repellents. So far, I haven’t had a single bite while wearing it, which speaks for itself.Overall, I’m happy with the performance and will continue to use it. It's a great product if you're looking for a dependable insect repellent.

I am a mosquito magnet and have been suffering using DEET for years. I hate that stuff (smelly, greasy). This product is so much better and it feels not much different than putting on regular lotion. It appears to keep the mosquitos away although I've only tried it a few days so far. But it was clear there were mosquitos around when I was outside and I haven't had any new bites.
