Dreamlover Wig Grip Bands, Headband for Keeping Wigs in Place, Tan, 2 Pieces

I decided to wear a wig, not as easy as it sounds if you don’t have any hair (completely bald) and I needed something that would keep the wig in place. I had tried adhesive glue, multiple bands and nothing was working, so I remembered a velvet I had previously when I had hair. This velvet band is a lifesaver, my wig stays in place, no movement at all, it is comfortable, adjustable, no slipping. This has been the only thing that has helped me!!!

Love how this holds. Needed this for securing wig used for hair protection in winter months. The size is perfect and the size will definitely fit any head. It slides on easily and is great for the hair protection of your real hair to not rip it out. If you need to wash your can easily just throw it into your washer. Great product! Won’t wear any wigs without it. Nothing worked to secure my wigs into I found this. Stop wasting your money and just buy this!

It's nice to have for wigs that don't have clips or a band of it's own. Soft and comfortable. Holds wigs in place very well. The only problem is, if you're going for a realistic scalp look, it's visible under lace front wigs. Still good to have in your collection if you use wigs alot, especially ones for cosplay/costumes.

I'm new to the world of wearing wigs. Owners of a local wig shop gave me a tutorial and hooked me up with products that make wearing a wig more comfortable. One of those products was this wig grip band. I have a smaller head and I didn't feel like the wigs were secure on my head. I didn't want to have to go to the level of wig glue or adhesive for everyday use. This grip band is perfect. It easily wraps around the head and holds in place with velcro. The length of the velcro strips make it flexible for many head sizes. There's no poking or itching from it. Along with a few clips, this band helps hold my hair up and out of the way. It is comfortable and the wig easily slides over it. I know when I have the wig snug over the band that the wig will stay in place and fully cover the band. As far as maintenance, the wig shop ladies told me these should be hand washed and air dried about once a month or more frequently if I'm doing things that would cause them to get unusually dirty (like working out and sweating). The wig shop sold me one of these bands for more than the price of two of them that I purchased here. They're the exact same thing. They told me these are their favorites, after having tried many different brands. While I don't have the experience with many brands like they do, I am very comfortable and satisfied with these.

I'm a breast cancer patient, lost my hair to chemo, very new to wigs, so here I am. Breast cancer treatment can be hot, sweaty business due to hormone therapy, and a wig is already a warm ordeal. These velvet bands work well to prevent my wig from sliding, but the band was wet within several minutes, and it felt soggy under my wig until I could remove it. I switched it out for a silicone band, and voila! Magic!! I expected the opposite to be true, but the silicone band is much cooler (and dryer) than the velvet. It's summer now, so maybe I'll switch back to these velvet bands in the winter, but right now it's too warm for their use. The stretch was perfect, the fit was firm, but it just made me too uncomfortably warm.

very hesitant to buy these. I only have cheapy wigs, one is a hard front and the other is a lace front. I for sure thought that the hard front was going to look very bad with the added bulk of a wig grip. Boy was I wrong! I love these! My wig was very comfortable to wear and it stayed in place. I did the hair whip thing and it didn't budge! Comfortable to wear and I definitely feel better about wearing my wig in public. I can pull the sides up with a clip and the weight doesn't bother me or the wig. ( I have 26" long wigs) I have to use a long hair wig cap and I believe that that would be the only reason why the grip slid back off my head. I am super pleased and I recommend them

I wear wigs every day and generally hate having to glue it down, especially if I'm not going out for long, so I figured I'd give this product a try. Pros: It works very well and feels very secure - my wig does not feel like it's going anywhere when I use this band. I didn't do a lot of stress-testing, but it worked nicely on when I went on a walk earlier. It's got some good grip. Just a tiny bit of stretch to the material, which allows you to get a really nice fit around your head. The size will probably fit most peoples heads since the way the velcro is applied leaves about 4 inches of room to loosen or tighten the band. -- Cons: The headband adds a bit of bulk under the wig and it's noticeable under the lace if you're looking for it. It kind of made my lacefront look like a hardfront so I had to blend some makeup out on the middle part so it wasn't as visible. It's also a bit hot underneath a wig, which can already get a bit hot. -- Overall comments: The material reminds me of a microfiber cloth. Not a pro or con, just noticing. For quick going out, I'm pleased with it for an easy solution to go to the store or something without having to glue the wig down. I honestly probably won't use it for when I'm dressed up though, it'll be a purely "girl on the go" convenience kind of option for me. Works as described and fulfills the want/need I had when buying it. None of my "cons" are enough to remove a star from my total rating, since the product is completely what they seller has said it is. Very straightforward product and I like what it does, and the price point is reasonable for me and will allow me to skip a wig cap and glue when I don't need to wear a wig for long.

These are a game changer for keeping your wig in place! I can vigorously shake my head including upside down, and my hair/wig doesn't slip or budge. If you have a larger head as I do, these will fit you comfortably. No headaches or migraines.. I can see these being extremely useful/helpful for people with smaller or regular sized heads. Trust me when I say that these bands will make a huge difference for those of you with smaller heads. For my fellow larger headed people, you know how hard it is these days to find units that fit properly. Including without hair like me. ☆☆ Naturally if bald as I am, these are an absolute MUST, as the very last thing one wants is for our wigs to slip or fall off especially if at work, hospital, or in public in general. Of course there are many wigs that won't fit no matter how you slice the cake. But the beauty of these is that they'll also give a great grip for wigs that aren't a great fit, but you can still get it on. Making it so that you can still work with less than ideal fitting ones. Well made. Excellent color options for different skin tones or wig colors. Both bands are in one package. Excellent value for money. Also come in the option for lace front wigs. While I don't love those ones as much as I do these ones, they still work excellent, and definitely serve their purpose. Seriously cannot recommend highly enough!! There are more expensive versions of these. The only difference is that the more expensive ones have thicker velvet. If you are on a budget, these get the job done perfectly. I give mine a gentle hand washing and let them hang dry. I've since purchased quite a few more packs of these. I've also gifted them to some ladies I've met with similar illnesses, and going through cancer treatment whom have small heads or even larger heads like mine. I've also gifted some to much younger friends that do cosplay that have small heads. I tend to always have an extra one on me when I do go out. By the time I've gotten back home I've usually ended up giving my extra one away. Everyone I see frequently at the hospital or various clinics, that I've given one or a new pack of these to, have all fallen in love with these just as much as I have. I seriously cannot imagine wearing my everyday/daily use wigs without one now. I refuse to! Especially due to having no hair. Hope this helps. :)

Die Bänder (2 St. pro Packung) hatte ich bereits in einigen Internet-Videos gesehen und mich zunächst gewundert, dass bei deren Anwendung kaum noch weiteres Zubehör (meist ohne Nylonkappe, evtl. wird noch ein Netz darunter getragen) notwendig ist. Daraufhin habe ich mir die Bänder in der Farbe hellbraun bestellt, die zum Glück direkt ideal zu meinem Hauttyp passten (ansonsten kann mit Makeup verblendet werden, hier muss man sie dann regelmäßiger waschen). Um das Band optimal aufzusetzen sollten die Bedienungsanleitung bzw. die Produktfotos beachtet werden (das kleine Bildchen sollte nach dem Anziehen außen seitlich am Kopf zu sehen sein, ansonsten sitzt das Band schnell mal schief). Inzwischen verwende ich die Bänder seit mehreren Monaten regelmäßig und bin nach wie vor äußerst zufrieden damit. Einwandfrei. +++ Sehr natürlicher Look unter Lace-Front-Perücken (bei zu hellen Nylonkappen sieht man unter der Lace - wenn die Kappe nicht angeklebt wird öfter mal so eine störende harte Kante, das ist hier nicht der Fall). Insbesondere für Anfänger sind die Bänder sehr gut geeignet. Trotz der samtigen Oberfläche glänzt nichts unter der Lace +++ Super schnell und einfach anzuziehen +++ Perücken verrutschen mit dem Band darunter nicht so schnell und müssen deswegen nicht zwingend geklebt werden und wenn eine Kappe oder Netz darunter getragen wird "flutscht" dies nicht so schnell weg und die Haare bleiben gut verstaut +++ Die eigenen Haare werden unter der Perücke noch etwas besser komprimiert sodass die Perücke nicht so stark vom Kopf absteht +++ Angenehmes Tragegefühl durch die samtartige Struktur. Das Band kann durch den breiten Klettverschluss-Bereich individuell straff- oder etwas lockerer eingestellt werden +++ Kein unangenehmer Geruch, formstabil nach dem Waschen (vorzugsweise Handwäsche)
