I guess it’s my own fault for not lookingn at more reviews and realizing most of them are for a different product than this - seems sketchy. Anyway, I used this 3.5mm adapter with my regular earbuds and my iPhone 7 and heard a tinny static noise in the background of everything I listened to. I made sure to check the source of the stain by trying different headphones, different player, different phone, and even my wife’s adapter - and it’s definitely these adapters that cause the static.

The first one broke after less than two days. I'm extremely careful with stuff like this because I hate wasting money on adapters. It still broke. No pulling or twisting or anything. Not even enough time for natural wear and tear to affect it. Just extremely low quality material or something. Static blares over my music if I'm even lucky enough for music to play. Hopefully the second in the pack doesn't immediately stop functioning. Not that a 50% chance of being functional would make this product's quality any less abysmal.Unnecessary update: the second one didn't work either.

SO not happy in finding out that these are not quality ... one works okay / audio quality not up to par with my old adapter. The second one doesn't work ... only on one side - so you get half the audio, usually the acoustic side, not the lyrics . . .I'm so disappointed. Sent the ONE that doesn't work back, hoping to get a replacement that actually works.UPDATE: A few hours into my trip and the 2nd one quit working.TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

I finally used yesterday. I plugged my apple headphones into it earlier in the day to be ready for bedtime. I went to use them at night and realized they weren’t working. I looked and the cable. The piece had pulled out the wiring inside of the adapter. I couldn’t believe it was that poorly made. Extremely disappointed.

It is junk! I don’t think I’ve ever done a review this low. Somewhat works for music for iPhone 7 but no phone calls. No as others posted it’s buzzing. Too late to return. Buy beware. I’m searching for actual Apple product.

I got these as I was going on a trip and broke my other headphones. They don’t work went on a flight and what I though I could only hear everyone could hear. Very embarrassing, I would purchase this item if I were you

Use my daily on walks to listen to podcasts on my iPhone. The first one lasted about a month before I got lots of static. Replaced it with the second one and the plug fell out a few days later.

Bought these for my daughter because we're tired of listening to whatever she's watching. Needless to say, these broke within 2 weeks outside the return window. What a waste of money. It actually didn't break, it fell apart. The piece that connects to the phone completely came out and the wires inside look as if they were cut. DON'T BUY!
