Soundbot SB517FM IPX7 Water-Proof Bluetooth Speaker with FM Radio - Gold/Blue

For the price, this is a great value. It does a lot, and I particularly like the Bluetooth connectivity to my phone for music playback. I'm not crazy about the functionality for getting the radio on in the morning. When you press the power button, it turns on in Bluetooth mode automatically, and you have to press it again to get to radio function - no big deal. BUT the sound comes out at high volume - and to lower the volume, you have to press the "<|" button, so if you don't press it for the proper amount of time, instead of lowering the volume, you merely go back to the next station at the lower frequency. Set-up wasn't easy, to scan all stations and find the one I prefer. But once you get past all these initial set-up quirks, it's easy, the batteries last a good while, the suction cup has held up well, and reception is pretty clear. If you need a small, inexpensive, multi-function radio/speaker, this will be great for you. If you're picky and need to change stations a lot, or change settings a lot - get something a little more intuitive.

Fell of the tile wall a few times. Got a little upset and slammed the suction cup on the wall too hard and it cracked on the backside (mostly my fault. I'm more gentle with it now and it doesn't fall of the wall anymore.). Volume controls are a little touchy and it always turns on at full volume. Other than that it performs fine.

I've now purchased two of these and after awhile they only work while plugged in. Decent sound for the price otherwise. One was used in the shower and the other was connected to the handle of a tube via caribiner for floating on the river while they worked. The shower one worked a couple of months, the floating one held up for one summer of floats.

I absolutly love this product!!! For the price it exceeds every expectation. The sound quality is nice and it can easily be heard over the sound of the water in the shower. If placed on glass it ever has a bit of bass to the sound. The phone function I could honestly do without. More then once I have been out of the shower and forget to press the power button only to answer a phone call and have them talking from the shower. Overall I would highly recomment this product and have to family and friends who like me like to listen to music in the bathroom.

It isn't very easy to find radio channels and it doesn't pick up many FM stations. A little disappointing.

Great sound for small speaker but FM signals weak need to attach the power cord and leave it in.sound bot. Need to work on it for wireless.

This is seriously one of the best Bluetooth speakers in this price range. I have several others and they're okay, but they lack the features of this little guy. Its surprisingly loud for how small it is, but no distortion that I've heard. The color makes it easy to locate in my mess bedroom. My only dislike of this product is the charging cord. I wish it was a standardized cable (micro or mini USB) instead of the specialized one, but I can look past that.
