great company to deal with
I bought the 120 color set in late Aug. 2024. 4 of the gel pens were dried out from the get go. I noticed a week ago that Hethrone's website listed a space for returns. I forwarded an email to the company mentioning the 4 pens. Hethrone sent me a quick reply asking for purchase info which I sent to the manufacturer. Their reply so I thought would get me the 4 colors in question. I could not have been more wrong. Hethrone mailed me a new full kit of 120 gel pens and at no cost to me. To say the least, what a pleasant surprise .I'll keep the 4 colors I need and then donate the new box to a local elementary school.By the way, the product itself is fantastic

Great Value!
I just received the 120 set today (3/15/23) and they DO have the color name on the barrel of each pen but not the #, there's also a large color chart that has the name with a swatch printed on the inside of the lid. The caps on both ends are also colored, I've only checked the 1st pen (Soft Lime) for accuracy so far: the caps are a soft very light creamy yellow, the ink is a dark very bright warm yellow, no trace of green, I would have named it Bright Lemon but silly me, I thought limes were green😋 That said I have yet to see caps or barrels match actual color on pencils either, not even my Prisma Colors so I didn't expect them to on these, I was just happy to find the names on them, especially after reading here that they wouldn't be. Google rates these at #2 with a 9.5 just behind #1Tombow with a 9.7, I've never had a Tombow and I've only tested the one pen so far but it was both juicy and well pigmented, the caps are securely fitted and the pens have a good feel. The metal storage & presentation is as good if not better than any I've seen at any price, so considering these are 1/6 of the price of Tombows (26¢ ea vs $1.59 current sale prices on both, at reg prices Tombows are 7.65x the Hethrones) I am more than happy with my purchase! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Love them
I love these markers!! The colors are so pretty and the tips are so nice! The only thing I would change is the tin that they come in with the flimsy trays to hold them. It would be so much nicer if they would have made a carry case with the markers inside instead. That way you could get to each marker and need a ton of space to put those trays . Also, it would be awesome to carry with you on the go, whereas the tin is just too incontinent to take on the go. Other then that, as I stated above, I love the markers themselves and the beautiful colors!!

They bleed and the broad tips weaken if pressed too hard.
The set of 120 dual tipped coloring markers is everyone's favorite so we run out of certain colors quickly. We have a class for seniors to color and have conversation (or just color for relaxation). The experience coloring with these markers is enhanced when we are mindful to have an absorption pad underneath the picture being colored because the markers do bleed through. the dual tip allows for fine line or broad li ne shading. One criticism is that we find that those who are tense while coloring tend to press down too hard and we don't get good wear on those marker colors. Drys quickly. Need to look into replacing the ones that get used up the most in the set because of the tips get mashed and unusable if they are pressed too hard.

Best Markers!
Honestly what isn’t to love about these markers? I LOVE the brush tip side and all colors! They are pretty bleed resistant and cover well! They are good sized and easy to use. They don’t dry out easily as long as you properly store them!

They are pretty good
These are pretty good markers. I will add more to this as I have them longer, but it is my first day having them and I wanted to talk about some of the things that I heard from other reviews. The metallic colors are indeed not metallic, nor would I expect them to be as they are water based. They do pretty well to portray the color they are intended to portray however. There are slight differences in all the colors. The reviews kept saying they all look the same, or that they weren’t pigmented enough. This is because you need to have a couple layers with the lighter shades and one lighter layer with the darker ones to get their true colors. They are really pretty shades and I would say that they would work great for those starting in art, but with a little more experience than crayons. They have tons of options and would be a dream for any kid to use. Or…at least my dream as a kid anyway. They blend relatively well for water based markers, just be cautious of where you overlap. I will hopefully add more to this review in some time when I can talk more about the durability and longevity of them, but they are pretty impressive for the price thus far!

You get what you pay for
I bought these for coloring books. After chemo, I feel sick and don’t want to do much so I color. I don’t consider it art and am not going to hang it up, but it takes my mind off feeling sick. As a crafter, I have Prismacolor Pencils and Copics, and Tombow for water markers. Rather than use those on a coloring book, I bought the cheapest markers with the most colors I could find. I also liked that it had a fine line side so I could get into tiny spaces. The color these lay down is rich and pretty and so far the ink does seem to match the color. You can’t really blend well though, but that may be because they aren’t alcohol or my paper won’t work, or I’m trying to prevent bleeding. Luckily, it doesn’t seem to bleed to the back of the paper as long as you stay light. I do want to use both sides of my books. However, the brush nibs are very cheap and split after doing just a couple square inches of coloring as a test. I may have to break out the tombows and/or pencils after all, and least for the main colors and larger items to color. We’ll see when I really get to town but I doubt I’ll be able to finish more than a page or two without destroying the brushes. (Once split, obviously you can’t stay in the lines). If they last longer, I’ll update. So for $25.00 I think these are a good value if you are going to do a school project or just lettering a card or two. If so, you probably don’t need this many colors though and may want to try better ones. For heavy use, the brush nip apparently won’t hold up.
