I bought this for my grandson's 5th Bday. It was the hit of the day! The way it lights up is so fun, and the way the wheels spin independently (allowing it to spin really fast), and it flips over and keeps going, had him laughing so hard. It was a lot of fun. One issue I see is that you can't easily tell which is the front of the car, so it's hard to know which way to push the joysticks, so he kept running over his own feet, and couldn't back it back up. That's going to resolve itself with practice. This is his first experience with a controller, and yet he jumped right in. The car battery is rechargeable, and comes with a partial charge, so after about 10 minutes of operation (on that partial charge), we had to plug the battery in to fully charge it (there is an extra one so you can keep playing while charging the other one). The car doesn't plug in, you remove the battery to charge it - simply plugging it into a USB port. The controller uses regular AA batteries, but you can't simply use AA's in the car itself. But no worries, the car battery charged fully in about 20-30 minutes. So far, this is A GREAT gift. I'll update this review if there are any problems down the road.

First off, this thing was pretty impressive from the sheer amount of torque and speed it managed to dish out with a small single 14400. This little thing ZIPPED across the park thinking it's a DJI mini 3 with wings. impressive battery life as well. Cons: did not withstand the test of time as it's not very well built. The battery compartment.... SMFH!! Whoever designed that needs a kick in the crotch! The little clip broke off after a while having me look for the same thing by having to retrace its route. After 2-weeks, it looked like it went to the moon and back. My son and I didn't misuse it, we did to it on what was advertised to do. Pros: They have the motor and batteries down packed as once again the thing was responsive and moved! if only they made it more durable with a slightly larger battery compartment to fit an 18650 for more mAh. Now we bought an RC car that takes 5 18650s, is HUGE but as far as speed and controls, this little thing still had more balls for the 10th of the price. Want to have fun but not for that long? PERFECT item lol. I would purchase again!

I initially got this car because every remote control car I have is inevitably broken by the rough handling of small people (children) I play with. This one can withstand that! If a child picks it up and drops it, I'm sure it'll eventually break, but it survives crashes and rough roading. It's difficult to figure out how to control--instead of one control to turn and one control to move, each control is in charge of one wheel. Push both to move forward, one to turn, etc. The four and five year old could figure it out. The two year old sometimes gets it to work, but usually just spins. And the flashing lights immediately caught the attention of the one years old. The reason I took off a star is because the panel for the battery breaks easily where it's supposed to screw down and the battery itself, while rechargeable, is also a weird battery that's hard to get in and out. Still, it's a great car. Would buy again.

I bought two of these for my grandsons and they are ages five and just about four. They are pretty good at remote control operation so I would say for them, these are a little difficult to use to start with. They figured it out pretty quickly and our pros at it now. They are super fun, easily maneuvered and are standing up so far to lots of outdoor play. I like that they came with a second battery pack. And they charge pretty quickly. I got one in blue and one in green and the colors are very vibrant. Overall great pic for a four and five year-old.

This little car is crazy but fun!! Goes fast, flips and flops around!

Cool cars, the kids loved them, but they do not last long in terms of tires, etc. But they are fast, fun, just limited wear and tear.

Christmas present for a 5yo (but equally good for older child or mum/dad too!) Purchased based on reviews and doesn’t disappoint. Goes super super fast and lots of fun.

Product is very good but recharging battery is very troublesome, have to open with screws and remove battery all the time for recharging.
