SKITCHN Crepe Pan - Nonstick Dosa Pan for Roti, Indian, Pancake Griddle - Induction Compatible, Tortilla Comal - 11IN

Ok, I’m not one to write reviews but when a product is good and long lasting I think it deserves a shout out…. So this pan is specifically used for pancakes or roti/chapati(iykyk) . I have never applied any grease to this pan and it’s been perfect. It washes well in the dishwasher yes it does have a bit of that ionization on the bottom, but that doesn’t bother me because food doesn’t touch that side…All in all, good product. Just ordered my second one to increase my productivity and spend less time in the kitchen.

UPDATE: The customer service from the seller contacted me very promptly and offered me a replacement. I needed a pan so I had already purchased one from a local store but they sent me one anyway free of cost as a good gesture. This one is definitely much better than the on I purchased from the local store which was pretty much the same price. The new pan came in a very secure packaging - Box wrapped in bubble wrap and in another box. Pan was in-tact and is very good, It is heavy and works well. Very good heat distribution. I believe the first one a victim of poor handling during shipment. But kudos to their customer service to take a quick action and satisfy their customer.The pan itself looks good and heavy but pan's handle came in broken. It is still attached to the pan with a screw but the plastic part in between the handle and the metal is broken into pieces due to which pan is very wobbly. All the broken plastic pieces were in the bag in which the pan was packaged. The box is not damaged though. See attached pictures. Doesn't look like it was damaged during shipping as the box was not damaged. Pan was packaged in a small box which was then packaged in a larger box and both boxes were in-tact. I don't know if it is poor design or poor material (plastic) that attaches the handle to the pan. Or it could be a damaged piece from the factory and was packaged as is. A pity since the pan itself looks sturdy. Unfortunately have to return.

Heats evenly on my stove top. Use it mostly for making pancakes and frying eggs for sandwiches.

The media could not be loaded. So far this seems like a great pan. When I was putting it together, I did notice the handle was wobbly when I attached it. It came with spare parts and I knew if I added the extra washer and gasket provided it would fix the issue I was having. This handle does look different than the past reviews where they broke. I will test and see if it also warps like others say as well. My video shows what the handle was like before I added the extra parts and after.

I planned to buy a raclette grill, but we didn’t have space for it in our kitchen, especially considering we would use it like once a month. This shallow pan was a good middle ground for melting raclette cheese. I also use it to make omelette since it fits 5 eggs without overflowing and the low sides make it easier to flip.Good quality, easy to clean.

The 12.5 inch Dosa Pan warped after the first couple of uses on medium heat. The bottom of the Dosa Pan no longer sets flat on my Induction cooktop. So far the nonstick is holding up. The pan came with two screws (but only one screw was needed to attach the handle) but neither screw worked without using two (2) flat washers (both screws with one washer were to long). I like the size of the Dosa Pan but suggest the designers go back to the drawing board and redesign the pan to keep it from warping and use a better handle attachment mechanism.

I love this pan.I got the 10 inch pan. Use it for cooking omelets and potstickers. Easy to clean. Would purchase it again.

I wanted to love this so much! It looks really cool and it is light and seems durable. The issue I ran into is that I couldn’t get it really hot. I wanted it to make flatbreads with a browned crust and I couldn’t get the pan hot enough (with oil in it) to get a nice browned crust. Bummer. It seemed perfect.
