This is a good ice cream cooper given the value. One very minor gripe is it leaves a layer of ice cream in the back of the scooper. That's because the release blade is not fully recessed. I end up giving the scooper for my kids to lick off the ice cream :)

This scoop is a little larger than I expected - but my grandson is the ice cream scooper person and he loves it.

Seems to be a good quality .It was a bit difficult for me to use in that the handle that pushes the ice cream out got in the way. I had trouble holding it down while trying to scoop, hurt. I’ll keep working with it. Maybe the ice cream needs to soften first.

I use this to scoop my muffin batter. This works well for the jumbo muffin pan.

After the 2nd or 3rd use the metal bent. For some odd reason the handle and the scoop are separate pieces. This makes it easy for the metal to bend when trying to scoop frozen ice cream (ice cream is always frozen). This also makes the scoop completely fall apart, meaning the moving parts literally fall off the scoop and it needs to be bent back into place and put back together which is a huge pain. Waste of money, doesnt do the single thing it was made to do. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap single piece scoop so at the very least it'll do what it's advertised to do.On the plus side it's very easy to clean.
