The first thing that struck me when I opened the box was the care and ample packing material to protect the lamp pieces during the shipping journey. There are no instructions to put it together, but it was not needed. Installation is intuitive and is engineered smartly.Very solid construction and pleasing to look at. When people visit they all notice the lamp quickly and comment on how pretty it is. Well worth the investment.

There has been some discussion on related products, whether the lampshade is plastic or glass. When I first unpacked it, it felt like plastic. When I tapped it it sounded like plastic--it went "thunk" rather than "tink"; however an attempt to scratch it with a sharp metal object told me that it's glass as advertised. It's the frame that appears to be plastic rather than lead like a high-end Tiffany-style lamp.The lamp base is quite heavy and there's no risk of it falling over. (It was Mrs. Peacock in the Conservatory with the Lavish Home A1000B1 Tiffany Style Table Lamp.)The LED bulbs that come with the lamp have a warm (2700K) appearance that is appropriate for the lamp. The design places the bulbs close to the shade, which results in uneven illumination of the shade with noticeable bright and dim spots. The bulbs are ones where there is a significant non-illuminated area in the base, and I want to experiment with a bulb whose entire globe is illuminated, to see if this evens out how the shade is illuminated.My main concern selecting this item was the color, whether it would have a warm and earthy tone. I am pleased to find that it does.

I was worried that these lamps might look cheap considering how much less they cost than others of this type, but I was pleasantly surprised. There's barely anything to assembling them (add the shade lol) and they look perfect in the living room of my Arts & Crafts home.I also want to mention that these lamps were packed incredibly well. The post office smashed the hell out of one corner, and I prepared myself for a cracked shade and return label before opening the box. But the shade was surrounded by thick sturdy Styrofoam and was in perfect condition!

It was a bit of a struggle getting it out of box, a testament to how well this lamp is packed at the factory. Very well packed with sturdy foam mold pieces supporting and protecting everything inside. Nothing was broken. Instructions were easy to follow, just pull the cord from the bottom to help screw in the bottom pole piece and stand. Three pieces screw together forming the pole. Very sturdy. The lampshade is stunning, regardless of how many lights you use, single or both bulbs, it projects a beautiful light. Using just one light, the shade seemed to produce a nice golden glow to the area. I am super impressed with this product. Finally, let there be light!

Very happy with it. It's fully wired, just disassembled in the box. Easy enough to remove the base and begin screwing the column sections into it one at a time, when you reach the socket section, just pull the cord through the base. Colors are great, the provided LED bulbs could be a touch warmer color wise, but that's easy enough to change. Plenty of light available for reading in an armchair and it's the right height too. Overall, very happy with it.
