If you love your Videomic, get this case
It fits snug and looks good. With a Rode logo on it, there's no doubt of its contents. This bag is exctly like a bank deposit bag, except padded more. I had my Videomic for months and transported it in its original packaging the whole time. I'm very satisfied with this pouch.

Fits the NTG-2 without the foam wind shield
Fits the NTG-2 without the foam wind shield on it. Just take it off and slide it in next to the mic. You could jam them in together but that would bend the the foam.

Doesn't fit
Item doesn't fit the Rode NTG as stated. I thought it might be a bad unit, so I sent it back and ordered another one for my Mic, but that one didn't fit in the pouch either. It's well made, and not the vendors fault but the Mic won't fit in it.

Nice Pouch, but zipper pull falls off.
Overall this has been a good pouch. except for one thing...the zipper pulls fall off. I bought five of these and 3 of the pulls fell off. I've tried to re-attach with some success. The tab that holds the pull loosens over time and the pull slides out of the gap. I've now replaced the pulls with a split ring (think small keyring) instead of the pull because its thicker and hasn't fallen off yet. This pouch just isn't up to Rode's usual high quality.

Got this for my Rode "GO"
This item is just like a bank bag, except a little bit better protection and it is black and has "Rode" printed on the side.
