Our new Big Mice and Rats are a new design idea. If you have bought Cat Catcher mice and compatible attachments you are aware that they were originally made with a single eye metal pin through the toy and a bead glued on the end so there was not a sharp point. The design has been improved on some attachments to use a plastic tube with a durable thread loop at the front. While safer for your cat there is still a hardened plastic tube that can be swallowed if you fail to monitor your cat and toy. We have improved on this again by using a leather strip in the body with a durable thread loop to connect to and no longer gluing on ears or drawing on eyes. These new mice/rats now contain ONLY North American Buffalo leather and hair (or wool) and the small thread nose loop. No metal, no plastic, no glue and no ink! Though these are made for interactive play with a compatible pole/wand, you can cut the thread loop off and give them to your cat for monitored play alone!Each Big Mouse and Rat is approx. 3 to 3.5 inches long with an approx. 3 inch long leather tail. The ears are leather and run through the body so are not affixed with glue. Most cats go wild over these new attachments or as solo toys in monitored play.Regular play sessions using these attachments are great outlets for instinctual hunting behaviors and encourages exercise that help keep your cats healthy and alert.* Rod/Baton/Pole/Wand is not included with these attachments.
