Cold Pressed Defatted Almond Fine Flour 400g, Good Source of Protein, Perfect for Baking

This is what I've been wanting, proper fine milled almond flour that's been defatted so not as oily as ground almonds. Absolutely excellent and lovely company to deal with. My only problem is it only comes in tiny packs of 400g (& we're low carb so I use an awful, awful lot!) so please please do a 1kg size, which I hope will work out cheaper, as it's prohibitively expensive at £17 for 400g. Super good product, but falls down on price sadly. Until it's cheaper and in larger quantities, I can't afford to bake with it.

Put it on deserts in stead of ordinary sugar for less callories

Great product. Low calorie and low carbs compared to the few other similar products out there. Have already ordered second lot. Shame about the cost but it is a specialty product I suppose. I have been using it to make low carb bread.

Really thickens sauces and keeps the calorie count down

For such an expensive product very disappointed that the packet was leaking flour through a hole on arrival. The complaint form works only select the other item that arrived in the same order so that's why I have left a rating, it may takste ok, it should be in one piece when delivered though.

Have had excellent de-fatted almond flour before but this one is far too thick & dense & flavour is not 100%.

What I was looking for.

As the header says, this flour is perfect for Macarons which is what I bought this for. I figured that as it is de-fatted, the flour would be finer and it is. You have to be so careful with other almond flours when processing down to smaller grains as the oil from the almonds is not good for these finicky French treats, hence my conclusion. I found that there was almost zero waste when sifting the flour and icing sugar together as this is almost a powder. I really love this but I won't be buying it too often because of the price, and for just 400g, it's just too expensive, especially if you make a lot of macarons as I do. It's truly time-saving stuff and so convenient.
