Too expensive for a cheaply made product
This socket snapped while using and caused my hand to slam into metal and cut me open. Socket broke with me using a breaker bar. Really mad and wish I could have my money back. I'll send you back the broken socket.

Seems to be good quality.
I bought a few Tekton chrome sockets to replace ones missing from my sets. I have a lot of Craftsman tools but the nearest Sears store is over 50 miles from me and they don't stock much anymore. Lowes at this point only has sets of Craftsman tools not individual stuff. I have a couple of Tekton impact socket sets that I have had a while and no complaints so far with them. I just this week bought 2 chrome sockets, this one and another size. The other was a CR-V socket, this one does not say that. I don't know if the newer sockets are made with different alloys or what but CR-V has long been the higher quality standard for chrome sockets, Chrome Moly for impact. Maybe they sell both but I can't find the option for CR-V on amazon or Tekton's web site. Time will tell if these are as good as many say they are, I usually use impact sockets now for almost everything and as I said these were purchased to replace missing sockets. Craftsman sockets are not as good as they used to be, I manage to break them all the time and not with an impact wrench. Hopefully Tekton will serve as well as the older Craftsman tools.

Very well made socket
Bought this socket for one purpose only, tighten and torque down tow balls to my tow bars. It's very well made with excellent machining and finish. It has no problems torquing up to 250 ft-lbs.

Not chamferless.
This socket has a chamfered (beveled) edge at the lead in and as such is not suitable as Fox fork cap removal socket. Do not try it. It will slip and wreck the head of the soft alum air shock due to its very low height. Otherwise appears to be well made and good value. If you need a socket to remove air shock nut with - make sure you get chamferless (no bevel) - you want a straight wall.

Good
Haven't used it and hopefully I dont need to. Got it for my Toyota Tacoma to use with a Harbor Freight breaker bar for tire changes if necessary. Of you've ever used the provided tire iron you know they suck. Not helped by the fact that most places use an impact, and over torque your lug nuts making it extremely difficult to remove them with the tire iron.

Perfect socket for an inboard prop nut (at least on a Malibu)
I needed a socket that was deep enough to fully go past the tip of the prop shaft and fully seat on the nut on my '01 Malibu Sunsetter VLX, but yet not too deep as to where the ratchet would hit the back of the rudder. This socket fits the bill perfectly, allowing the exact clearance I need.

Perfect fit
I used this product for 2008 Mazda Miata MX-5 NC transmission and differential fill bolts 23mm. I fit this socket onto my breaker bar, ratchet, torque wrench, and It fit perfectly every time. I felt a firm grip and excellent transition of power. The outer coating is resistive to scratches and durable. Not many ratchet sets come with 23mm so this piece is good to have on hand. I like Tekton because they are heavy duty and affordable for hobby mechanic, I think this is a good brand to fill my toolbox.

Expensive but a great 6 point to open anode rod
Needed high torque to break the anode rod seal to release the rod. I ended up using this for a secure attachment to the anode head. The 12 point can move or jump at the high torque setting so the 6 point is better. This width is 1.2 inches. The Clearance on the anode rod collar on the GCr-40 worked perfectly with this socket. Recommend for that use!

Good Quality
Ground this down for a zero chamfer FOX shock socket - mint for a quarter of the price!!

It’s a socket.
This is a 38mm socket that fits the 38mm crank pulley bolt that I purchased it for. It is not a Snap-on socket but does the job.
