Saved a lot of money, and happy!
Bought this light for my Springfield XD40 tactical (the one with the 5" barrel and 12rd mag). Was very happy with the fit, doesn't even make it to the end of the barrel let alone past it. On the 4" XD I imagine it would be just past the barrel. On my XDS 45 (subcompact single stack) it sits about an inch past the barrel. Looks precarious but is in there snug (but I won't be using it on that gun). It doesn't sit flush with the trigger guard, which is not an issue for me, but of note for others who might desire that. Ran 250rds through the gun with it on, no issues whatsoever so it seems to handle shock well. The light is bright enough to be seen at a well lit range @ 10 yards (maybe more, but that is the max I tested it to), and in a dark room is more than sufficient. Outside at night was bright enough to see 100 yards away, though not terribly bright at that distance. I like the button on the bottom, easy to hit, and I have found I can hit the button on my phone in my pocket to turn it on if I needed to do it one handed. It comes on and off easily with the button on the side.Overall: Looks nice, handles well, bright enough, great price. I'm glad I didn't spend $200 on a light when this one works well enough for me.

Great little light for the money!!
Item ships in a blister pack, which was a bit off-putting, but after removing the product I was pleased with the overall quality of the light. It comes with 3 colored lenses that apparently are supposed to fit over the light itself, but none of them fit and one actually broke in half while I was trying to fit it. A shame as I was hoping to use the blue color. To the item itself; I bought this for use on my Glock 20C and fit was no problem at all on a full size pistol. The quick connect locks onto the ridge in the rail and quickly disconnects by pulling away from the pistol with the spring loaded buttons on both sides. They look like tightening screws, but they aren't. It holds quite securely even under the pressure of rapid firing a full size 10mm pistol so I don't have any worries about how well it holds. The light is TINY, so small that looking down from the top of the pistol if it didn't stick out from the front of the pistol a bit it wouldn't be visible at all except for the quick connect latches. It's that slim. Of course a Glock 20C is pretty thick, but the light is much smaller than the other snap on lights I have, and it's significantly brighter as well. The only annoyance is the on/off button is on the bottom of the light, which is poorly placed at best and ergonomically useless at worst. For my pistol I have to take a hand completely off a two handed grip to activate the light and repeat the same to deactivate it. For the price, it's not a big deal, and I assume the placement is probably a lot more convenient for smaller pistols.Overall very pleased with my purchase and look forward to see how it holds up.

Good Bargain
Very pleased with this light for $31.Positives:1) Where light attaches to weapon is very solid feeling2) Very easy to take on and off, literally one second.3) Inexpensive4) Nice and bright (not blinding however)Negatives:1) Not as blinding as my surefire 6x Pro flashlight at 200 lumens. There is a noticeable difference between my surefire 200 lumen and this one rated at 150 lumens. I read another reviewer say he placed the light downrange and attempted to shoot a target in that direction and found it hard to do so. It was a little unpleasant when I did the same, however it was not blinding and I would suspect a bad guy would have little trouble aiming in the direction of the light. I also placed one of my sons holding the light and I could not see my son at all, only the bright light. No, I didn't shoot toward the light this time!!2) The plastic that surrounds the bulb and where you screw it on and off seems less than sturdy. I expect this to last only if you don't drop it or handle it roughly. I'm not sure how it will stand up to repeated firing of the weapon with it attached. Mine only goes on my weapon at night by my bed, and I will only practice with it occasionally, so we'll see how long it lasts.3) The light is just a little too wide to fit in the small GunVault safe that I have. So if this is your plan, you will need a wider safe to keep it in.Not really a negative to me, but on my P99 and on my son's Glock 19, the light does extend an inch or two past the muzzle.
