Can this run on a b450 motherboard or do you need x570

in spite of this product being named 3200g it is not actually a 3000 series processor. it is still on the zen+ architecture which is Ryzen 2000 series. I am pretty sure most of the B450 series boards are already shipping with the updated Bios for the Ryzen 2000 series. Even if this were a 3000 series processor like the 3600 or the 3700x etc, it would still work with a B450 motherboard as long as you get one with an updated Bios, or have an older chip that you can use temporarily to update the boards Bios. A320 boards will only support up to the Ryzen 2000 series due to limitations on the boards. B450 and X470 should, assuming your Bios is updated properly for each, support all current AM4 socket chips, so that's all the Ryzen from the 1600x up to the 3950x AND the A series like the A6000 etc. X570 will not support the A series, but should support all the other Ryzen chips. (not 100% sure first gen Ryzen may or may not work I can't remember off the top of my head)

What kind of frames would i be expected with this and a xfx rx 580?

I get up to 160 - 200 fps on Doom 2016 at nightmare settings with out my frame limiter on. That is the same GPU I have.

Is this better than the 2600

No the ryzen 5 2600 has far better performance and i higher core count, if you look up benchmarks they will tell you this.

Whats the best motherboard to use?

This processor should work well with any AM4 socketed motherboard, but since it's designed as an APU, I chose to mount it in a mini-itx chassis with the ASRock Fatality B450 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard. So far, I haven't had any issues with that setup. This chip does emit quite a bit of heat though, so make sure it gets plenty of ventilation.

perfect! better than intel at this price range

excellent cpu, it also has a IGPU, so don't need to get a external gpu for it, amazing for normal office work and very light gaming, paired with a gpu you can get decent mileage out of it for gaming and some video editing, must buy for this price at 5k

2 years se use kr raha hu mst chl raha hai. GTA5 high or khila raha hai. Agar in future apko dedicated GPU lene ka mn ho to Ryzen 5600x lelo or koi sasta sa gpu lelo. Lekin agar casual gaming krni hai to lelo. Or low end pc chahiye to ise le skte hain. Lekin pc smooth chlega. Windows 11 aram se run krti hai. CS2 type games khila deta hai. Lekin future games ke liye aapko dedicated GPU lena hi hoga. Speed acchi hai. Quality mst hai. Amd hai to heat ka bnna obvious hai lekin gaming ke time pr. Noice level na ke brabar hai. Easy installation nahi hoti hai kisi experienced bnde se install krvana brna pin khrab ho skti hain.

I went on amazon and basically build my whole computer and wow its fast and easy anyways this CPU is amazing for the price. I bought it because I don't have the money to get a GPU right now and I know a lot of people said this APU has amazing GPU performance for playing games and I can say this is pretty amazing vs other integrated CPU out there. if you are looking to build a budget PC ATM to play some esport ,bornite,apex or any these esport it will run no problem . the APU does support FREESYNC in case anyone want to know. buy it ! you won't regret it
