Awesome. I have used this for 30 lb bags of dog food for over a year now. No issues opening or closing this bag clip. I live in a dry climate, so the seal is important in that the dog food can retain its moisture content. No problem, very easy to use. Also gives the dog food a handle, making transporting the bag even simpler.

These Handy Camel bag clips have been incredibly useful around the house. Giant bags of dog food, fertilizer, you name it - these clips handle them all with ease. The spring tension is strong enough to keep big bags securely sealed but not so tight that you can't open them when needed. They're surprisingly durable and haven't broken or worn out despite heavy use on thick bag materials. Perfect for keeping bulk items fresh and organized. Much better than trying to fold bags over or use twist ties that never stay put. Simple solution that just works. When you need to clip it, these clips do the job.

I have been using the little bag clips for my 30 lb Taste of the Wild dog food, that you buy for chips. Wasn't working at all. I just got this clip and it is exactly as described. I have a weak grip, so I was concerned I wouldn't be able to close it all the way. No problem for me. I have had to throw away a third full bag of dog food, as it would get stale and my Bella wouldn't eat it. I believe this will allow the whole bag of dog food to be used up. This will be saving me money on dog food. UPDATE: I’ve been using this clip for 8 months now. It still works great. I open/close twice a day, when feeding Bella. She now eats all of the 30 lb bag of dog food, right down to the last nugget. As mentioned before I have a weak grip, but have had no problem using this clip. Thanks for the great product.

We've had this product now for 2-1/2 years. It helps to keep large bags of dry dog food fresh. There are two minor (not show stopper) issues to be aware of. First, some may find it difficult to lock the clamp. I have no issue, but my wife sometimes stuggles to lock the clamp. Second, the clamp does bow out (warp) over time. So, the quality of the seal degrades over time. We're still using the original part, but it appears to have a limited life span. For the price, it would be good to see less warping.

I love this clip. I started buying bigger bags of food for my dog. Instead of getting another Vittles Vault, I decided to try this in tandem with my smaller Vittles Vault. It is heavy duty, and creates a tight seal. When closing the clip, you have to click it past multiple notches, and it takes a fair amount of strength to fully close. I have to use both hands to close it. This is definitely not a product for weak or arthritic hands. (see video) With the handle I can easily lift 30 lbs of dog food with one hand, and I am not a very strong person. Once the clip is on the bag, it does not budge. I do have to fold down the corner of the dog food for it to fully cover the opening. So it would be nice if it the clip was a big longer. But that's a minor problem. I use the clip to store excess food in the bag, and pour food into a small Vittles Vault bi-weekly. The handle makes it SO much easier to pour. I don't feel like I'm going to spill a ton of dog food all over the floor. It really is fantastic. This clip appears to keep the bag fully sealed and the food fresh. I haven't had any complaints from my dog. 😉 I'm definitely going to buy more of these clips for other bags that we buy in bulk. This is one of those products that I'm probably always going to have in the house from now on, which is probably the best endorsement I can give. Video showing me opening and closing the clip. This is a well made, heavy duty product! It easily holds and seals a 40lb. bag of dog food. I would recommend it for anything from mulch and soil to charcoal and dog food - anything you want to seal or carry easily. Doesn't tear the bag. Easy to lock and unlock, but depending on how bulky the bag is, it can take a little bit of hand strength to snap it shut for a really tight seal. Really useful and reliable product!

I have to rate this lower than anticipated because it states it is great to use for pet food bags, and the unit is shorter than the length of the large pet food bags, making it extremely difficult to close because of where the clasp is located on the clip. It takes a lot of strength to try to get the bag to mush into the smaller length of the clip. If there was a clip made with longer length to cater toward the large pet food bags, I would be excited to rate this clip a 5 star

I bought four handy camels for storage of hardwood charcoal and wood chunks for a big green egg. I store these items inside to avoid moisture and due to limited storage outside. The handy camel works well to transport the bags and keep moisture in and the smell of the charcoal/wood out. The only, minor, downside is that a full, large bag of charcoal requires a bit of finesse to use the handy camel. The size limits are clearly noted on their website, so no false claim whatsoever. Bottom line: it works exactly as advertised. An enormous chip clip that also helps you carry. I'm glad I purchased and would highly recommend.
