I just purchased a new HP printer (7955) which takes 64 cartridges. I wanted to be sure that the printer could be made to use non-OEM ink cartridges. After installing these cartridges, I kept getting an error message stating that the cartridges were no communicating with the printer. I had a virtual chat with the manufacturer. They suggested removing the color cartridge to isolate the problem (nice to find out that the printer will work with just the black cartridge). With just the black cartridge installed, printer worked flawlessly. Company is sending me a replacement color cartridge as that appears to be where the problem lies. I will try to update this review once I have the replacement cartridge.

Installed replacement cartridges without any problems and printer ink display shows full level. Ran a print cleaning cycle to prime the print circuit. Print output looks as good as the HP OEM cartridges – Note this old printer does have a couple of bad spots in the print head which shows up with all cartridges both OEM and these. These cartridges have been installed for several days now and continue to work perfectly. These cartridges are a good value as the HP cartridges are expensive and it is hard to find the OEM cartridges that are not expired.
