I’ve been using the Whirlpool Ice and Water Refrigerator Filter 2 for a while now, and it’s one of those small household items that makes a surprisingly big difference. Installation is incredibly simple—just twist out the old filter, pop this one in, and you’re good to go. Within a few minutes, the water flow returns to normal and the taste improves noticeably. The water comes out clean, fresh, and without any of the subtle aftertastes you sometimes get when a filter starts to wear down. Ice cubes look clearer too, which is a nice bonus. After buying the off market ones and having cloudy water, had to bite the bullet and buy this expensive one. Works as described, but super expensive. But I guess you have to pay more to worry about what you're putting in your body. Not sure what you're getting with the off-brand or what chemicals they are or not putting in there. Ugh, hurts the wallet, but the taste of the water is good at least

Great value for the money. Water is tasteless. I replace it every six months and it has saved me a lot of money on buying bottled water.

I originally bought the "Filter 1" and had to return it. So be careful and make sure you buy the right one. This is expensive but I am assuming it is worth the cost. I had a hard time installing it because I think the old one in the house I moved to had not been changed for a long time. But once the old one was out it was really easy to install this filter -- the size was just right. The water coming out of the filter seems fine. The water quality is good. In fact I am drinking it now! There is one thing that worries me and the instructions as far as I know did not say to run water through it for several quarts like my old house's fridge filter. It worried me and so I did do that even though the instructions as far as I remember did not say it was needed.

Have been buying/using these filters for my KitchenAid refrigerator for quite some time now and they have never let me down. They are easy to install, always reliable and no leaks. Also, I typically get about 6 months of use before needing to replace them.

Works as intended. Fit with no issues. Price has jumped quite high in the past few months.

Cumple completamente su función, agua limpia en mi refrigerador y creación de hielo comestible. Volveré a comprar uno porque ya termino el tipo de vida desde que lo compre al rededor de 6-8 meses, altamente recomendable .

Followed directions but still cloudy. Let water sit and will clear up.
