Amazon Basics 40-Pack AA Alkaline Industrial Batteries, 1.5 Volt, 5-Year Shelf Life

The Amazon Basics industrial batteries are amazing value for money. They work perfectly in my Xbox controller with no issues at all. I’m not entirely sure what the technical difference is between these and the regular ones I think the industrial ones just have a slightly shorter shelf life but they last a very long time. If you buy the 200-pack today, you won’t need to buy batteries for a good 1–2 years. I’ve been playing on my Xbox quite a bit and the battery level has barely moved; it’s still sitting at about 95% charge. I'm super impressed. These are almost as good as Duracell or your regular Energizer but for a much better price. Highly recommended! I personally don’t like rechargeable for me it’s inconvenience I prefer the good old fashioned alkaline no waiting around

Be prepared for a heavy package, relative to its size, when you get these..! These basic Alkaline batteries have always offered exceptional value. They are also absolutely a regular sized battery. What I mean is, unlike some rechargeables, they have fitted in every device or toy I have tried to insert them, regardless of the tightness of housing that they have to fit in. Some seldom used devices have also retained their charge well from these. I have never, used them for years, noted any battery leakages, especially not seeing them in devices put asway and not used for some time. Yes, it is best to remove batteries from a device if placing in storage, but if forgotten, the nit is good for us to find them not corroded or bulged and leaking. We still use rechargeables, a lot. But these are some situations where these Alkaline types just do the job better. I have various hydrometers, a number being outside, these batteries will retain their charge much better in the cold weather than the rechargeables. Also, we have some devices where the 1.5v is very much needed, and these all seem to measure that quite accurately. Whilst rechargeables are typically 1.2v. So, overall, these are great AA batteries. Exceptional value lasts for years if not being used and last a typical long time in use. I have not seen them corrode or bulge, as mentioned, and so are very much recommended. Our had a five years expiry date when bought. We always dispose of our used ones by taking them to our local supermarket for correct disposal, they have a battery bank for recycling.

Good set of AA batteries at a very affordable price. They last well and work perfectly in everyday devices like remotes, toys and gadgets. With 40 in the pack it’s great value, and it’s always handy to have spares around the house. Overall reliable batteries at a good price.

Bough them several times now to power everything around the house. Most of them get in the kids toys like remote cars. Those are very energy hungry and these batteries keep up very well I have to say! So for small gadgets and remotes they would live even longer. Buying larger packs like 40 makes it super cost-effective. Considering the performance on par with other "energ...etic" and "dura..ble" brands - this are top notch on a budget! You'd think packaging is not a priority, maybe yes - but trust me when you get a large 40 pack and use the through many months - you don't want them just covered in plastic film like other brands do. These come up in a nice, simple but snug fitting box so it's very convenient to storage them. Great batteries. Can easily recommend them. Cheers!

Cheap, but false economy. I have bought these twice due to the price however I have noticed that they don’t seem to last on average anywhere near as long as more expensive brands.
