The sight came in safe and sound. Very quick shipping. Decent price for the little fiber optic front sight. Less than a minute to install with one hex wrench. This one is green. They also comes in red for $10.00 more. No justification for that up charge other than that's the color most people want. These TruGlo sights do a great job of gathering light to make it more visible. The sight was basically the same size so it wasn't too hard to zero in. Overall a high value modification to your pistol especially if you are a certain age.

Attached perfectly to a Ruger MKII heavy barrel. Some reviewers have stated that the original mounting screw is too short with this sight. Mine worked fine. The screw hole depth may have changed throughout the years of manufacture or various models/MK's?

That red dot glows like crazy. I love it. So much easier to find my front sight when at the range, especially when I am using B/W printed headshots as targets. There is a lot of black and dark gray in my targets, so the black front sight did not work very well. Easier to put a 22 round thru the foreheads now.

I got this for my Single Seven(presumably it will also work on a Single Six), because I needed just the front sight(as opposed to a front and rear. It fit fine, but the sight screw on the gun is too long. The base is thinner(the post is the same hight), so the screw bottoms out before it can tighten the sight down. I had to grind the screw to shorten it, and it is likely that it is not long enough now to use the original front sight. Not that I plan too. The fiberoptic is much finer and easier to see than the stock sight. It makes for a much better sight picture.

Excellent sight. Very fast target acquisition. I definitely recommend.

Fits great easy install. Great for quick short to medium range shots. Only draw back for me is actually how big and bright the bead is, if I'm hitting a 4" plate at 35yds consistently, I'm satisfied and I can with this sight, but at that range I'm using the frame around the bead more than the bead itself and with how bright it actually is, the frame can be harder to see. This is of coarse nit-picking a known trade off and why this is a great shorter range sight, I only mention it for the people who might want it for longer ranges.Also mention that there is some info out there of people saying the threaded barrels have different front sights, mine came with a rail only on the back, I purchased a factory mkiii adjustable sight online and found the front sight way to short, ordered this and it fixed the problem. Got it prime next day too.

This fit the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical perfectly. It's high enough to clear the top rail. Way better than the stock front post.
