St James of London Honeycomb & Elderflower Parfum

One spray is all I needed as the scent is strong (not in a bad way) just that I like "a hint of" vs showering with perfume. this is the honeycomb and elderflower and it does have a nice flowery smell to it. It does have a tiny oily feeling as the description mentions essential oils vs other perfumes that has a more "alcoholic" ingredient to it. The bottle is simple but elegant with its glass container and cover and gold spray head.

Smells nice but not quite as described... more like a floral shampoo. Very light, and the fragrance dissipated very quickly.

This perfume is on the sweeter side compared to the gardenia perfume from the same line. As I have stated before I adore the sun due to the fact that it does not give me any headache for my sensitive nose

The two main features that drew me to this perfume are 1) The simple, old-fashioned packaging and 2) The promise of elderflower. I adore St. Germain elderflower liquor and had the idea that perhaps this perfume would be like tasting a sweet, floral cocktail made with it. I did get sweet and I did get floral with this perfume but way too much of both. It is cloying and like being smothered in bunches of elderflower. There those who will like the overpowering nature of this perfume. However, I had to wash it off immediately. And it didn't completely go away after the first, second or third washes either. So that's good news for its staying power. I think I detected too much of the musk and it felt heavy to me.For reference, my favorite go-to floral perfume is Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf.

Not the worst, not the best. Lasts a long time. Everything smells different on different people, so what I like, you might hate. Hard to describe a fragrance or perfume in words. I will wear it though.

Peach and apricot notes combined with a spring meadow. Smells like bath beads. Seems very versatile for appropriate age ranges. Bohemian.
