I'm using this for a cut off switch between van Battery and Battery bank with inverter. Works good easy to install Good value. and quality.

I do remote service in remote areas with my service van. I have a 2500 w inverter so I installed an extra deep cycle battery. Looking for a solution to disconnect the battery without pulling the terminals off I decided on this switch. It's only been in there a few days but so far so good!

Used as a disconnect for my boat battery. I mounted it to the side of the battery box and it has stopped the vampire draining of the battery. No more wasted days hauling the battery in to be charged instead of enjoying the water. Seems splash resistant and a nice heavy duty lug connection.

Just received this and on first look it seems surprisingly solid for what it is.It is obviously a mass produced product from Asia (and the universal packaging that still has relabeling instructions helps to make that clear) but it actually seems pretty solid.To clear up some things that I was unsure of when I bought it; it comes with the switch assembly, and a total of four side panels that slide in/out as needed for the cables to reach the terminals. Then of course there is a base plate that snaps into place. The whole (black part of) the assembly is a molded abs style plastic the seems very durable. The side panels slide in very securely.Overall, if you drill through the needed detachable panel just big enough for your battery cable to enter the assembly, then follow up with a little liquid electrical tape then it would like be very much waterproof.

Product shipped quick. Just slow on install due to weather conditions. Once I was able to install it was quick and easy.

I have sent a return request thinking that the device is defective, however, I have discovered that the device is working as expected, I was still getting power from my trailer connection plug, once I discovered that, I figured out the device does actually work as it should. Amazon was so great to immediately send a replacement, however, I think I will pay to keep both, and have a backup unit. I've used it now a couple weeks and it is working as it should now that I know this.

Works quite well in a marine environment. Comes with all hardware to install and get working. I bought one last year for my boat and another last week for my friend's. Handles my cranking battery bank just fine.
