Seems to work great
We applied fertilizer to our yard and some of it blew onto a joining concrete. A day or 2 later, we notice horrible rust stains on the concrete and was devastated. New home, new concrete. Searched the web and found CLR. Bought a 28 oz bottle of CLR to test what it would do. Applied nearly the entire container in an area about 2-3' x 4-5'. Put it on and scrubbed hard with a stiff garage floor broom. The directions said it had to be removed in 2 minutes so that's what I did. I then pressure washed the area and about 50% of the rust was gone. Very disappointed so I gave it another shot. This time I left it on for 3 minutes with hard scrubbing. Then pressure washed it off and I would say 98% or more of the rust is gone. Pressure washing by itself did NOTHING. If I hadn't used my pressure washer above, not sure if I would have had the same results. I have an electric SunJoe pressure washer that I've had for about 5 or more years and it still works great. Lower pressure than most gas units (2000 psi verses 3000 psi). I rate this unit better than the 2 previous gas washers I've had. NO gas to buy, less noise and my gas units just didn't hold up like my SunJoe. Disclaimer, I don't use the SunJoe that much so don't know how it would hold up with more frequent use.

This product works!
Used the product to clean rust and calcium build up on toilet and calcium deposits on sinke/bathroom faucets and showerheads. IT WORKS! I should open a college appartment moveout cleaning service just for this purpose! Used this product for 3 major cleaning projects of college student bathrooms during moveout over the last 3 years in order to help them save a heafty cleaning deposit. These apartments generally do not have soft water SO rust/calcium build up is atrocious. How these kids live with the unsightly MAJOR RUST in the toilets is unfathomnable but guess they are busy getting an education, not worried about the rust/calcium buildup. Once I am finished with the bathroom, IT IS SPOTTLESS and so shiny! Every time I have completed the project, I wish I had before and after pictures. NEXT TIME FOR SURE! DIRECTIONS: Follow them. I use thick vinyl gloves in all cleaning projects. For the really really rusty/calcium build up, I dont dilute the product. Depending on how much build up of rust/calcium there is, you may need to extend the product contact time. Then, scrub using old rags, scrub brush and for those hard to get at places, an old tooth brush. Then rinse or flush. Repeat as needed. A hint: you know the product is working when you start to see it foam on the rust or calcium. THIIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING!.

Its like magic liquid. Finally I can settle on this to fight the hard water deposit.
I used Vinegar to soak my coffee machines and other small appliances such as hot water pot urn to get rid of those hard water deposits. It takes an overnight soaking to get a clean result. I tried CLR based on reviews with a little skepticism of those reviews. Wow, CLR blew my mind. It works like magic and clean my hot water pot in exactly 2 mins. I did not dilute CLR as instruction since I didn't think it would work so I tried it at max strength. Fill 1/6 full in the water pot, then slowly row the pot to let CLR reaching other area. After two mins, my pot is clean like new. I was so excited and immediately pour the used CLR into my coffee machine and this time I took a picture before cleaning. After two mins soaking, CLR did its magic again as you can see in the 'after' picture. So no more vinegar soaking for overnight. Although it is more expensive than Vinegar, but I don't need large volume to soap the whole pot or appliance. And the result comes back fast.

Bought for the shower, found a miracle for my dishwasher
I’ve used this for awhile for my sinks and toilets and works well. I was looking up where to buy this the cheapest, and found a review that talked about using it for the dishwasher. Now, I live in an old apartment so I have no control over the pipes and old dishwasher. All the dishes have a lovely hard water film over them. I bought the Lemi-Shine dishwasher boost, the dishwasher cleaners, and different detergents all with minimal results. I thought it was hopeless, and chalked it up to hard water and old pipes. Decided to give this a go. After the first cycle, looked like there was still residue so ran again. When I went in, there was a powder on the heating coil so took a towel and wholly cow so much orange residue came off. Wiped down the whole inside with CLR to make sure that like the spraying holes and all were cleaned. Then ran a empty cycle to rinse it out. I was shocked after the first set of dishes came out. I didn’t tell my boyfriend, so he said brought one of the glasses to me when he was unloading because he was shocked and confused. It worked sooooo well!! You can see in the picture on the left is one that hadn’t been run yet, and the right is after running. This is with no extra additives or special detergents either. I thought there was no hope, but this stuff is amazing!!!!!

Calcium, Lime, and Yeah That's About It...
I'm not sure if I used this product incorrectly, or if the surface that I applied it to was too rusty, but CLR performed in a way that made me feel that it was simply "OK." I mainly tried to use CLR to clean a rusted soap dish in my bathroom's shower, and at first I diluted the solution, applied with a rag, waited the amount of recommended minutes, and rinsed with cold water. The result mainly consisted of a slightly shiny rusted soap dish, but the rust was still very much there. So I figured I would just put some undiluted CLR in a spray bottle, which the makers of CLR DO NOT recommend, and apply it to the soap dish directly. I applied, waited, rinsed with cold water, and this time some of the rust came off and the soap dish was really shiny. Still though, the rust didn't budge for the most part. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I read over the instructions over and over again only to achieve the same result. I will say that CLR is a lot better at removing calcium and lime, but I do not think it performs as well with rusted objects.

The only thing that helped removing limestone buildup on bathroom tile. It's quite strong and pretty caustic - use goggles and face mask if you intend on working with this for longer than 5 minutes. Vapours are a bit nasty that way. But it worked, when pretty much everything I had tried before - failed. Best effect with some ceramics-grade fine steel wool.
