great concept...where are the other sizes though?
I spent forever online trying to find a good shading product for the back seat of my Honda CR-V for my daughter. I liked the idea of not having suction cups or weird designs/logos so this is what I went with. Somehow I must have missed where it says you get two, but for some reason I thought it was just one and was pleasantly surprised when I found two in the package. I tried installing them without reading the directions (because that's what I do...for everything) but didn't have any luck so I had to go back and find the directions, which are clearly printed on the back of the package. You need a credit card to work it into the door, which I admit is easier to do than just on my own like my first attempt, but they still seemed to be too big for my windows (yes, it does say I got the right size for my car, and there weren't any smaller ones available online anyway). Right out of the bag, one of them seemed to be ripped a little around the edge (maybe just not sewn right?), and the other one ripped a bit as I was pushing it down into the door with the credit card, but I don't think that really affects their effectiveness too much. My daughter does not like to leave it alone as well (she's two and will not leave ANYTHING alone), and it seems to be constantly popping out of the side of the window, which does worry me a bit because I don't want them to rip any more or fall out. I have not had any issues with rolling the windows up or down, and really like that I can open them (I'm just assuming this will not work on the highways or going fast anywhere) and get some air in. They are also not quite a sun-blocking material...more just a thin meshy material...which I suppose still works, but I'm not too sure, though my daughter has not said the sun was burning her eyes since I got these, so they must be alright.

Misleading
I ordered the shades based on the product confirmation as a match for a Subaru Outback 2013. When I received the package and tried to install they did not fit, and upon reviewing the packaging it stated that the shades only worked for the 2012 model and prior. Not big money but extremely annoyed at the deception. Also, today I went to return and I guess yesterday was close or return window, so no use anymore. S

Good Price, Limited Benefit
I bought these to keep my truck cool while parked. Pros: Fits in rear truck window perfectly. Allows window to roll up/down (don't roll down while driving). Cons: Doesn't block much sunlight. Very transparent, but probably enough to lessen direct sunlight on long drives. Since colored black they actually increase vehicle temperature by capturing light that would otherwise reflect. (I'm going to paint them white or gray.) Overall they seem to be worth the price and I'll update after painting them.

It works...
I was surprised how well it works, would by it again once these break down. Got a medium for my Pilot.

Not great
Even after tucking in the shades into the window, they still wobble and just don't look good. They are very cheaply made and when you do take them down, they are a hassle to keep folded.

Loving it!
Tried these shades after our previous ones with the suction cups stopped sticking to the window, plus every time we'd roll the window down, it would pop off. Had it for almost three months now and going good. Installation was a little tricky cause you have to shove it into the window groove. Using a credit card as instructed was useless. Husband spent maybe 15 minutes working it slowly down between the window and car frame. Pros: stays in place when window rolls down and actually has helped keep the car seats a tad cooler in our TX heat. Kids also can't pull them down like the other ones. Does not overly obstruct the view, so our daughters can still see out and still be shaded. Cons: does not completely cover our mid-size SUV windows as described. But, I guess this would have been remedied if I took the time to measure.

NEVER REALLY WORKED FOR ME
Maybe I'm just a dummy, but I could never really get these to work properly. I chose them because they are not made of vinyl, but I didn't like how they attached and the one I installed didn't last.

Not a great fit, doesn't block a lot of light.
My wife's SUV was one of the models specifically listed for this model, but the fit wasn't great and it was really tough to install.
