Nice cage, straps ehh...
I spent a lot of time looking for the right water bottle cage for my front loader cargo bike (Riese & Muller Load4 75). I commute on it and don't drink while riding, but I wanted something that could hold a lot of different drink options from insulated coffee bottle, to water, to single use plastic bottles. The strong metal cage is perfect for durability. I really appreciated that it has numerous mounting holes spaced down the spine. I was able to use a hidden tracker holder behind the bottle cage to extend it from my mounting location on an inset cargo wall panel and then offset as high as possible over a protruding frame member. I don't love the straps, they are way too long and have to be carefully wrapped up when nothing is being carried. I plan to replace them with a Voile-style strap that's shorter in the near future. However, the straps do work and did a nice job of holding a fast-food plastic cup. I didn't even think about it while riding and several miles later, including an off-road shortcut, the cup hadn't spilled a drop.

Best cage on the market for oversized water bottles!
This holds my 87 ounce insulated water bottle flawlessly. I love it. My giant water bottle is lowkey my adult security blanket, and it’s awkward to carry it in my backpack. So I’ve been trying to find a cage for it that would securely anchor an 87 ounce insulated water bottle to my bicycle frame as long as I’ve had it. I’m not gonna lie: This thing is overpriced at almost $40 for what is essentially just a piece of aluminum and some quality straps, but it absolutely WILL securely hold up to an 87 ounce water bottle when it’s full (thats about 11 extra pounds by the way) with no problems and honestly the straps would accommodate something even wider, but I’m not sure how much additional width you could fit between your knees before it would become problematic. And anything taller than my 87 ouncer wouldnt fit. But the cage is super adjustable, it fits my gigantic water bottle perfectly, it’d hold any size of Nalgene bottle or any other kind of water bottle effortlessly. Also, it’s literally a two hex key bolt installation that takes about 2 minutes, and the design is totally solid for extra large water bottles.

Awesome cargo cage for bikepacking
I bought two of these Oupost cargo cages to use on my gravel rig and hardtail that I use for bikepacking. While they're not as light as some other cages out there, they're sturdier which for me means more than saving a little weight. The cages are metal. I have other cargo cages that are a composite material but wouldn't last with some of the rougher conditions I've used these in. Yes, there are only two sets of three mounting holes. You can still mount them to a fork though that has bosses. I like the fact that they can be adjusted by choosing any one of the different mounting holes to keep them clear of chainrings, etc.. They can carry large Nalgene bottles, Klean Kanteens, cargo bags and even a crowler can of your favorite local beer (see picture). I'm purchasing two more cages to mount permanently to the gravel rig so I don't have to swap back and forth anymore. Blackburn did a good job with these although they could do with a third set of mounting holes. I read a lot of people drill a third hole for fork mounting which could save people the time and effort.

I love it. Just have to deal with loose strap ends
Love the practicality for my exercise bike (Giant Defy 3 2015). It fits my JBL Charge 4 very well and keeps it in place perfectly. The weight is appropriate for the rack, but not mind blowing. That’s the trade off for it feeling very robust. My biggest gripe are the straps. There are no places to secure the straps when tightened down. I just make a few loose knots and they are out of the way. A better solution would have been a bit of velcro or elastic to secure the loose ends.

Fantastic Cargo Cages
Just got them and haven't put them to the loaded tour yet. But what I have done is installed two on my lower rack and fended eyelets (it just worked out I had a rack with the extras I was able to use with braze on mounts) HD CARGO RACK by origin 8. I didn't plan on it, but I'm pretty handy so I found a way just shy of zip ties. So my cages are on each side of the front wheel. I ride a surly 26 wheel lht. A touring God of bikes. So I had a pretty install for where I wanted them and they come with a few attachment hole instsllation options for this very reason. I'll say that I thought they were black to match my racks but they are dark gun metal gray. At least the ones they sent me. I didn't gripe much about it. It's actually a nice contrast as to where they are. They seem sturdy enough and I put a rolled tent and sleeping pad (one on each side) to get a feel for it. Does the job. Nice long securing Straps. Can also see myself loading up a few groceries on them. I've never been more excited about the set up. And I've had and still have quite a few bikes I rotate in the week. These cages just made this bike that more serious. If everything ended tomorrow, I'd ride out in this bike with a place for enough gear to survive a 72 hour zombie shut down attack. Overall they're a win. If you're on the fence figure out how you want to use them first. Simply They'll work just fine on your standard braze ons. If you want or can be creative with your set up, Blackburn makes it easy for you with a solid product. You may need to be handy (or know a good bike person) with extra hardware and washers, but a good base is there.

Testato in numerosi viaggi. Perfetto. Lo utilizzo con borse decathlon da 5L. Ha diversi prefori per adattarlo ad altezze diverse sulla forca. Cinghie gommate assicurano la stabilità del carico anche su percorsi off-road. molto robusto
