Amazing keyboard if you can ignore the software flaws
I got the red switches and while this is a super loud keyboard, it feels very smooth to type on and very responsive, id maybe suggest at least brown though as resting your hand on this will trigger keys due to the low weight needed. the arm rest is weirdly soft feeling even though its solid and the 2nd usb pass through is nice for attaching mice. the rgb is a bit finicky but love that its per key. the little monitor is great for displaying cpu/gpu temps in an easy to spot area

Good keyboard Nice switches
I am not good at English,I use hard for gaming and working on Photoshop. Both Windows and Mac work great. This switch is soft no need to press hard and hurt my hand like my previous keyboards(g512 and corsair K70 lp). That is main reason why I buy this keyboard. And overall is better too. Likes - The switches is soft and fun for using. - Great RGB light. - Quality build and premium looks. - The switch have nice sound but pretty loud. Only one thing to complain - The software. save profile in On-board profile is not work .Save will work only in Configurations and drag the profile to On-board profile. At the first times I thought My onboard memory was broke because the save is not work but it was just confusing interface.

Smooth!
This keyboard is smooth, feels great on the fingertips, super responsive, easy to adapt to within 1 minute of use. Color settings have high customization. The OLED screen can be customized with any image you want (via it's dimensions),. You can switch to/use discord and custom discord colors without having to alt+tab. Volume roller feels quality and has some friction instead of just being free-floating. On that note, the entire keyboard feels quality. Super solid. Wrist-rest is very comfortable and a nice soft-touch material. It is also magnetic so you don't have to worry about breaking tabs or having cheap creaking. The USB pass-through is MASSIVELY useful. I use the slot to apply the USB wireless transmitter for the Steelseries 650 mouse. What else is there to say? Just buy it.

Only a little RGB failure after 4 years!
I bought this keyboard 4 years ago. I'm a fan of SteelSeries headsets (specifically the ones with ChatMix controls on the headset, but they're phasing that out sadly), so I thought I'd try this keyboard out. 4 years later, it's not my daily driver, but it's still functional for my work PC. It's a little 'clackier' than I'd like, but I like a quieter keyboard. The keystrokes are smooth, and the board is very easy to clean (I have lots of cats). The only strike against this keyboard has been the RGB. Some keys do not light up at all. Others are missing one or two of the three colors. For those who like a good gaming keyboard that will last and don't mind the RGB not working, I'd recommend this. Linux users will find this keyboard along with other SteelSeries keyboards supported by OpenRGB, though it's sometimes a little quirky to make the colors change.

Solid, but sounds like nails on a tin roof
I just picked up this apex 7 along with a rival 310 as part of my desktop refresh. I've gone through a ton of cheap keyboards, and wanted to go through the mechanical keybaord experience. The first thing I noticed was the heftiness of the metal build. The keys also felt solid under my fingers when I typed. I got the red switch, which is supposed to be the quietest version, but the keys are still noticeably loud compared to its non-mechanical counterparts. For the additional features: the magnetic wrist support seems okay, although I might end up not using it if it eats up too much desk real estate. The LED display and multimedia volume wheel on the top left are other examples of things that are cool, but probably not what I'm going to utilize very frequently. Overall, it's a solid keyboard with a long long lifetime even when under constant duress from gaming. It was a bit pricey at $140, but worth it for such a workhorse product.

A great mechanical keyboard :o)
This is my second one of these. First one was about 3 years old. I had spilled something sweet on it and got the keys gummed up. I plan on washing it, but needed a "good" one sooner. Anyway ... If you are looking for a great keyboard which doesn't make a lot of noise, this one with the red switches is great. Steelseries also makes them with "blue" and "brown" switches. To figure out I liked the red ones the best, I went to a local big box electronics store which had all three of them available to test. I would highly recommend doing this as finding the right switches as to your desire makes a huge difference in how you'll view the outcome of your purchase. I'd do this for ANY keyboard you're thinking of buying. Looking at the advertisement for "linear" doesn't make much sense until you actually put fingers to keys. The other thing to understand about this keyboard is, it requires two USB slots to function correctly.

Buen producto, siento que las teclas están un poco altas pero funciona increíble.

I absolutely love this keyboard so much I got the MX Cherry Red version as I like quieter keys The RGB and software for it is really simple and fun to use, with also certain apps that change the RGB like League of Legends being able to plug my mouse into the keyboard (wireless anyway) is great for cable management Wrist Rest is super comfy too
