Aaran and Blaire
Another exciting episode in the lives of the Conall Clan. In this episode we have Aaran who is Laird Eoin's brother in love with the woman that was supposed to marry Eoin, Blaire. But Bri took her place and fell in love with Eoin and married him. Aaron was smitten with Blaire the moment he saw her. Although at the time she was engaged to Eoin, they fell in love. When Eoin married Aaran thought he married Blaire when in fact he married Bri. Blaire took Bri's place in the future. The two fated lovers were torn apart by time, by a false marriage, by an engagement and only then were they able to finally be together. What they did not know was that there were three people setting up their demise. There is so much emotion, drama, feelings, danger in this book. It was hard to put down. I was engaged in the story from the first page. The only thing I did not like was the price of the book. It is a little out of my budget and so my adventure with the Conall Clan has come to an end. I truly enjoyed reading this and highly recommend it.

Arran and Blaire's love story
Arran Connell thought he missed out on love AND was afraid he'd betrayed his brother. But...he was wrong :) Morna has plans for Arran and Blaire MacChristy because she's one determined witch that won't let time get in the way of true love. While this can be read as a stand-alone book, I don't think you'll be able to read just one. Ms. Claire has a way of making you believe in time-travel, fate, destiny, witches and love. I recommend you start with "Love Beyond Time", book #1 in the Morna's Legacy series.

totally different than i thought!
Book two of this series is just as captivating and fun as book one. Blaire fell in love with Arran in book 1 but because of Morna's magic, she was sent ahead in time. In his grief, Arran marries another young lady because he believes she needs protecting and that he will never see Blaire again. Blaire, who finds the noise and craziness of the 21st century a little too much to take, ends up going home after she gets a visit from a couple of her friends from the past. She does this hoping that she and Arran might have a chance at love, and is devastated to find out that he has married someone else. I assumed early on in this book that this would just be a slight misunderstanding, or that she would make it back home to stop the marriage; then the characters would struggle a little to be happy together again, eventually marry and live happily ever after. I NEVER expected the author to weave such a wonderful storyline and to keep me in suspense for so much of the book. This is far from cookie cutter, and I loved seeing something a little bit different from this book. Just read the book and you'll see what I'm talking about. But make sure you don't have any plans because you won't put this book down until its done.

Morna's Legacy Continues in Love Beyond Reason
Young Author Bethany Claire has done in again in Book Two of the Morna's Legacy Series! Love Beyond Reason earned five stars, like Book One I had to think about it before giving it a five star review buy Ms. Claire earned it. She's got the talent to bring characters to life--not just their looks, the way their blood pumps when they see each other but the way they very humanly attempt to deny those feelings because love can be so frightening regardless of what century one lives in.Book Two focuses on Arran Connall the younger brother in the Connall Clan. Arrann is notorious as the free-wheeling, hard-loving, and heavy-drinking, life-loving Connall brother. The opposite of his brother Eoin featured in "Love Beyond Time". However, in Book One when Arran meets who he believes to be the adult Blaire MacChristy he falls head over heels after one passionate kiss.Blaire finds the secret spell room and ends up sending herself to modern day Edinburgh. She quickly becomes discouraged with the modern appliances and expectations of the people around her. She is, however, fascinated by the ease of the clothing. About the time she is unsure what to do she is visited by Brianne and Eoin who have traveled forward to get her. They have risked time travel to retrieve in order to save Arran who they believe is slowly killing himself. While they are away Arran is "talked" into marrying an unattractive young woman to help save her family's castle and clan. The young woman believes it is so her lover will marry her after Arran is killed. The plan is instead meant to kill both of them.A review for a book that a reviewer deemed so well written and enjoyable could easily give "it" all away. It's difficult not to do just that. On the other hand it feels wrong to leave out so much. I want to tell readers of this review--wait until you see what happens to Blaire when . . . wait until Arran gets caught up in . . . Eoin is so funny when . . . Arran almost dies when . . . The Connall Clan has to watch their back because . . . I wanted to rip that crazy SOB's throat out when . . .It's a good escape read. The series is great. Bethany Claire knows how to tell a story. She knows how to keep characters breathing from book to book even though each book features a different set of characters. Readers of romance will enjoy these books. Readers of time-travel romance will really enjoy these books. Readers of time-travel romance featuring gorgeous Scottish landscapes, castles, and Highlanders will swoon.

I really liked the novel. Just not quite as much as the first in the series.
There wasn't much information about their relationship. Most of it was shared in the book before. This book was really dark with the stories of Edana and the bastard children of the previous Laird. The story seemed to be more about them than it was about Blair and Aaron.

A fun time travel book
A fun time travel book.. The time travel is very easy in these books, but switching from one century to another is an interesting transition. The story line has some interesting twists, but when everyone is happy at the end of the book, it is a bit predictable.. But, I enjoyed the light reading.. Will eventually read the rest of the series. Recommend.

Love travels through time !
Love between the ages and defying time if you want the really romantic comment. This is not Outlander which is far superior but nonetheless a nice bedtime read and easy to digest ! Scottish people might be offended !

Whilst I am enjoying this series as an easy, but enjoyable read
Whilst I am enjoying this series as an easy, but enjoyable read, I have been totally cringing at the dreadful attempt at a Scottish accent and it's inconsistencies. And why is Eoin walking around with no shirt on?? They did wear clothes in Scotland in the 17th Century. I really feel this book/series has been let down by what appears to be a total lack of historical and geographical research.
