Works for what I need. I have a unit I plug into the wall at my house and that thing does a great job, however, it's a pain to take with me. I picked this rechargeable unit to use after the gym since I dont go home after working out.I have a thick curly beard that I need to straighten or make me look less like a bum for my profession. So, every morning I get to straighten my beard, then put oil in it and finally comb it out. The photos I attached are a before and after without any additional grooming. Overall, this little guy can handle thick and longer beards.From power on to 200 degrees Celsius took just 3 minutes. I concluded my straightening in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Total time powered on was 7 minutes and 15 seconds. After this, I plugged it in to see how much battery it used and it used 43% of it.The good: Lightweight and easy to bring with! Does the job I expected it would do. Once again, this is a small rechargeable heated brush, I would never expect it to perform like a plugged in unit.The bad: If i have to nit pick, could use a bit of a bigger battery. But, that would increase the size of the brush. So, once again, I understood this going in that I would likely have to recharge it every day or every other day. I am fine with that since I dont have to bring a plugged in unit with me.Overall, I have it 5 stars as I knew what to expect going into this purchase.I would recommend this brush if you're willing to understand that the battery is only so big and that you will have to recharge it at least every other day, if not every day.

My daughter had an outdoor wedding planned by a waterfall. I knew my medium length, medium thick hair would get frizzy and wavy; and I needed something portable and battery powered to touch it up for the photos to follow. This straightener was the answer. Although the wedding had to be postponed due to Covid-19, I've been trying it out in the meantime and it works well. I thought it would only be sufficient for touch ups, but I've actually used it for full straightening after drying my hair, and it works for that too (though not quite as well as my regular.) The battery charge will hold for a day. For some reason they market this "for beards", but I'm glad I found it anyway.

I've seen many reviews online for this exact comb or copies of it, and something no one seems to mention is how short the battery life is, you can expect five to ten minutes of usable heat, then the temperature just starts dropping pretty rapidly. I find it just barely suitable to comb out my long beard, if you forget to put it on the charger, it has not got enough battery for a second session. Otherwise pretty fantastic!

I'm a woman, so no beard to straighten thankfully! I usually wear my hair wavy, but sometimes the curls around my face don't dry into nice curls. I got this so I could try to straighten those around my hairline into wispy bangs. Its pretty handy - small, cordless, and heats up fast! I have not used it in my whole head, I have too much hair for that, but for the small sections around my face, it works well.

Worked right the first time i turned it on and turned the temp up to the max and it stuck there no matter what I do i cannot change the temperature. All i can do is turn it off and on. It has a temperature lock feature but that is not the reason i cannot change the temperature. There is no way to reboot the product either. Don't waste your money on this thing. Buy something with a cord for the same price or cheaper.

I wasn’t sure I was going to keep my beard or not because it was more curly then I had hoped. I tried oils, balm, wax and brushing and didn’t get the results I was looking for. This heated brush did the trick and I’m keeping the beard now.

It stop working like shortly after I got it, then it started back, it seem to over heat easy,

I Loved it! It takes the kinks out of the beard without the pain. And straightens it smoothing it out nicely....only issue is it takes a long time to charge and it must be charged after every use
