Nice little project box! It's easy to open but stays shut when closed. Being plastic it makes it easy to drill. It also has 4 small plastic bosses internally for mounting a board with screws. It also makes for a very light weight box. The total weight for the substitution boxes shown on the left was less than 3.5oz each. If they would have one a little larger with the dimensions of a 1590B box (like the larger aluminum boxes on the right) I would buy more. I don't always need aluminum shielding for every project.

I had a little project in mind when I purchased these boxes and it worked out nicely. The boxes are solidly built but easily drilled for jacks, switches, wires or whatever you need. They are small (that's what I was going for), so you have to plan out your work to get everything fit as needed, but, they are easy to work with. The covers snap into place easily and fit snugly so they won't be falling off. Nice product at a good price.

This will fit 150/140/130 size torroids very well (as shown in photo). I've used this for making ununs, baluns, filters (though I added copper foil inside as shielding), LC tuner, Z tuner, and other random things. The cover snaps on and it's does have stand offs for screwing an IC into the base. It's not perfect in any way but it's good enough for hobby work and that's what matters to me.

Work fine, but very small interior. Make sure to check the size you need carefully, as it's difficult to run wires in and out of the box and solder wires to pcb's due to the limited space. The box itself is fine and the cover snaps closed securely. Worked great for my project.

I’m always wary buying small plastic products like this but the build quality on these are great. A clean and simple look and the case/lid actually fit really well and form a tight seal. This functions perfectly for your little DIY projects and great value for the price.

Meets my expectations.

These look good, was surprised to find they latch at the sides instead of the end with the two notches. Plastic walls are 2mm thick, making them sturdy. You could customize these to suit your liking. There are other sizes you can get if these dimensions aren't what you need. I think for any mini projects you may have, these would be ideal.

Sturdy, very well made, affordable. I tried other enclosures before but they felt cheap. This one is tough and is very well made. I'll be buying some more soon.

First off-two people say that the boxes snap together. They do go together but screws come with them. anyway, I love them. I want to buy more now to make certain that I get the same type even though I don't need to at this time.

When you need a quick project box and don’t want the hassle of 3D printing one, these are great. They are easy to work with, drill through easily for mounting a connector, and they’re really cheap. Recommend!
