Replacement Smart Remote Key Fob 5 Button for Cadillac STS CTS 2008-2013

I can't say enough how happy I am with this purchase. I purchase two of the key Fobs, and OMG not to sound so corny, but the results I got were extremely "Outstanding", It took me all of one minute to program each Fob and so far they are working like advertised. This save me between 400 to 500 hundred dollars easily, I had to write a review to share if someone is on the fence in regards to buying one. Buy the way the fobs were for a 2011 Cadillac CTS 3.6Respectfully,Very Happy Customer

Easy to program and do it yourself on my 2012 Cadillac CTS coupe. Key fob comes with battery already installed, no need to open key fob to install a battery and Works great. Read instructions on the Amazon sight when ordering this key fob.

Very fast shipping and works as expected. Programming method works easily. If you have a coupe, you need to use trunk keylock. If maximum keys, you need to reset keyfobs by placing keyfobs 5 feet away from vehicle. Turn key 5 times and press in fake key ignition until it displays 10 min countdown, no fob detected. Do this three times until it says ready to program keyfob #1. Make sure you insert fob top down and keys forward. Once last key is programmed press fake key ignition in to exit Programming.Lastly press unlock on keyfobs to secure code and verify they work.

I read the instructions and it seemed like a lot of work but when i actually put it in the transmitter pocket and followed the steps it worked perfect. I was sure it would not work for this price or damage the old key but both are working and I'm thrilled to get this fob replaced for under 30 dollars. If you only have one key do not hesitate to get this cheap backup

2013 CTS Coupe. Easy programming. Can open doors, start engine drives fine.1. Remote start doesn't work.2. After engine shutoff and open door, radio continues to play. Must restart and shutoff engine again for radio to shutoff.

I used this to replace my old key fob shell just put the board into this one and the old metal key fit in perfectly!

Worked exactly as advertised. Programming was spot on and easy. Saved a ton over what the dealer charged me years ago.

Any locksmith will charge you $300+ to purchase the key and also program it.I purchased the key fob from Amazon because my current key fob would take forever to be recognized by my vehicle.The programming process was pretty simple.1. Open your door and leave your original key fob in the cup holder2. Place your key into the driver door and turn it five times until you hear a beep inside the vehicle. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY.3. You will hear a beep coming from inside the vehicle followed by a message on the dash.4. Place the new key fob inside the little slot against the back wall located inside the armrest.5. Give it a few seconds and it will say that the key is programmed and ready to use.Also I read that certain people are not able to put their old key into the slot of the new key fob. If you take it to a locksmith they should charge no more than $25 to make the key cut but for my case the key that I had fit perfectly inside the new key fob.
