For my needs to re-create threads into a watch housing, this unit worked.

Works great good value

The jaws are cheap and practically useless for smaller taps like M2 and M2.5 because they barely grab the tap and it's not precise enough to be centered (lopsided contacts for the jaws, note the V shapes aren't centered with each other in the photo). For larger taps in the size range like M10 it would probably be less janky because the precision would be less relevant for larger taps. It got the job done but just barely. M8, M10, sure. M2, M2.5, nope. Anything in between, maybe?

Says it can accommodate M1-M10 taps. M10 taps have a 9.6mm shank, the opening on this wrench is 7.81mm. Not even close.

Works fine, but don't purchase if you need a lot of threading - get something sturdier.

This product is a remake of an old design, but mad poorly. Taps are not held square. V grooves seem to be sloppy. Hope this helps.
