I have to read the pamphlet that came with this a bitt better before I willl feel comfortable using it. It is very sharp and has attachments and would hate to cut myself with this blade. I am going to be using this for diamond painting therefore I need it to cut out the paper from the area I will be working on. I think this is very durable, will last long and is a good value for the money spent. One thing that does bother mer though is that it doesn't have any safety measures in place such as the blade retracting into itself or the handle if danger is detected. I know it sounds silly but quite honesly its the only way to make this a safe product for anyone under adult age to use.

I got this knife for cutting washi tape in my planner and on letters. I wanted to be able to cut washi tape without scissors, and to be able to trim off rough edges when the tape was already laid onto a planner or envelope. This knife is precise and will cut only the washi, not the sheet below it. I'm very happy with it as it can trim off edges without me worrying about cutting the paper below or getting extra washi tape stuck to a scissors blade.

A few points that I am working out as I learn about this ceramic nib cutter: You need to be cutting a paper that is not a loose weave so to speak. I cut some thin-ish home made paper, and some paper that is newsprint weight. Both of these are not an dense, even press. Additionally you need to work on a surface that is firm. I tried using my bamboo crafting turntable. Between the "weight" and denseness of the paper and the bamboo wood of the surface under the paper I had some tearing. I had to go very slowly and precisely to lessen the tearing at small curves and corners. ... That said, the ceramic nib is small and that does help with the cutting as you go very slowly. Also go ahead and lift the nib of the knife and reposition for tight corners and curves. I am not sure what surface I should have under the paper I am cutting. Bamboo wood isn't a good choice. Metal would be too hard on the ceramic nib. Glass (like a glass cutting board) would probably be hard on the ceramic nib too. Again, technique is important (how much pressure you use, how slowly you go, and stopping and repositioning the nib all help this cutter work better. So, I took a star because this is certainly not like a super pointy exactly knife and is not simple to use. It is an okay tool to have but I'm not sure how often I'll reach for it in my crafting.

I have been trying to find an item to cut a sticker project I've been working on. Though this does FANTASTIC in straight lines on my 3 layer sticker paper + vinyl combo, it is not great for curves. The vinyl I'm using is on the gummy side and several cutting devices haven't done well, I had high hopes for the ceramic. I really like that this is lightweight and the blade seems easy to change, it will come in super handy for other projects. It may become my new signature tool for my clay!

Very handy little tool to have. I only own 1 but need about 10 more! Now, I don't have to keep reaching for the xacto blade and worry about accidents or that I forgot to put the cap on it and the cat could find it. Horrible thought. I use it to trim diamond painting canvas but find myself reaching for it to cut plenty of stuff. The *blade* is finger friendly yet mighty. Wish I'd had this when my kids were in school doing all their special projects. Great for cutting wrapping paper & packing tape. Bring on Christmas. I'm ready! Come to think of it.... 🤔 These could make a nice Christmas gift ... 🏃🏼‍♀️...Where's my list

I heard about this on a youtube video and since I am new to paper crafting, I wanted something to cut but not an exacto knife. This is a great tool and in my opinion safer than metal blade tools. Cuts a sharp line cleanly but note that it will cut through to what is underneath, so a cutting mat or thicker piece of cardboard is a good idea so you don't leave marks on a table or desk top.

Small blade but not fine or accurate enough. Cuts well through paper but not through much else. Will keep it around now that I have it but I wouldn't recommend it nor buy it again. Just use an X-acto blade instead.

It is so easy to cut. Very sharp blade! I use it to cut out images for Decoupaging! Plus great value for your money!

het ligt goed in de hand, maar voldoet niet aan mijn verwachtingen als kleuterjuf. Het mes snijdt gemakkelijk door dun papier, maar blijft soms haperen in de kronkels en bochten. Het snijden in dunne plastiek, enkel rechte lijnen lukt. Bij bochten en kronkels laat het wel een afdruk na, maar het mes gaat er niet door = dubbel werk, nadien met de schaar toch nog uitknippen

ça coupe très bien, petit bémole la lame est vraiment toute petite, j'aimerais qu'il en existe avec une lame un peu plus grande !
