Love my DR Neon Strings, plays nice and smooth, great sound and looks amazing especially in black light.

I got these because I just bought my first guitar and a copy of Rocksmith to try and teach myself how to play. PROS: Better quality than pretty much any 'stock' strings a guitar may come with. Coated wound strings are easier on new fingers until callus builds up. Color coding makes it MUCH easier to find strings until muscle memory develops. I have been playing the game with these for a week now, and I honestly can't imagine being as far along as I am with plain strings. When you first start in the game you are trying to learn moving your hands up and down the neck, fingering different frets, and picking different strings all at the same time, while looking at the TV. This speeds up how fast your eyes can pick out a particular string with just a first glance. Have insisted both of my friends who just got Rocksmith to get these also.

These strings are functionally just fine, they sound and play like any other string of similar price, but they feel old and grimy from day one. The coating that gives them their color is thin enough that it doesn't interfere with playing, but the strings just don't feel as smooth and fresh as a standard set. Aside from the slight feel issue it did seem that these strings took a lot longer to stabilize than other brands. Normally after a couple of bend-heavy songs and re-tuning my strings are stable and good to go, but this set took a few days before they would stay in tune for a reasonable amount of time. Overall if you really want colors or if you're learning and it helps you differentiate the strings these would be great. I bought them to have some fun for a bit, but I'll be switching back to my regular brand after this set.

I bought this set of strings to use while playing Rocksmith(+) and I really like them. This set is actually helping me learn the strings. That they match up perfectly with Rocksmiths used colors is really nice. No problems yet and I've had them for a couple months now. Definitely recommend! 5/5

Looked cool and all, but they were way thicker than what it says. Sounds ok, the color comes from a coat of paint and not the wire being that color, so I think that affected the sound a bit. Didn’t last too long and were harder to install than other brands I’ve bought.

The shop I took my guitar to could not find these colored strings and it took me all of 10 min to find them and get them sent to the shop ASAP. They arrived very quickly. They're perfect for learning on an acoustic guitar and helps me quickly identify the chords correlating them to the color. Ill see in time how well the color holds on but I've only just received my guitar back 3 days ago. I love it so far. It's just as It's been described.

Ces cordes apportent une touche colorée à ma guitare et me permettent de progresser sur Rocksmith. Les couleurs, bien que moins vives que sur les photos, restent visibles et ajoutent un côté fun à l'apprentissage et à la guitare.

EINFACH NICE, guter weicher klang der Saiten. Denke von verstärker zu versärker oder Gitarre zu Gitarre kann sich das Ergebniss abweichen. Grundsätzlich sind diese Saiten einfach krass nice, sie leuchten bei Schwarzlicht und spielen tuen sie sich erstaunlicher Weise sogar besser als normale Saiten ohne bunte Farben.

Me encantaron las cuerdas, al principio tenía mis dudas pero suenan muy bien y el color es brillante en luz negra... Después de un rato va perdiendose el neón con el sudor y rasgueo, pero es obvio por desgaste

Best idea I've ever seen!! Love the strings, and the colours are great!. I put these on my acoustic (Yes I use electric strings on an acoustic) and they still have a good sound after about 6 months of use (I don't use my acoustic too much so don't change strings regularly). Only bad thing I can say, is that the high E string is almost impossible to see on a rosewood or ebony fretboard, as its a deep purple colour and so thin, should be alright on a maple board though
